CSX4451 Posted July 14, 2017 Share Posted July 14, 2017 I'm guessing that casualties numbers after a battle include both the dead and wounded. These number are of course removed from our available manpower for the next battle. This gets a higher percentage of the wounded back into the battle without draining manpower. You have to remember most regular wounded soldiers died of their wounds, either because they simply couldn't be rescued fom the field or succumbed to infections later on.
