Code of the Brethren

Article I: All members must be online and actively participating with the clan for at least 12 hours per week, help out other members where needed, defend the Code of the Brethren and obey the orders of those appointed over you.

Article II: Language, orally or in writing, communicated to another person that is indecent and, under the circumstances, the conduct was to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the Brethren Court or was of a nature to bring discredit to the Brethren Court is strictly forbidden.

                Explanation. “Indecent" language is that which is grossly offensive to modesty, decency, or propriety, or shocks the moral sense, because of its vulgar, filthy, or disgusting nature, or its tendency to incite lustful thought. Language is indecent if it tends reasonably to corrupt morals or incite libidinous thoughts.

Article III: Joining another clan, guild, community, fleet or otherwise is strictly forbidden after being accepted into The Brethren Court. This is considered an act of mutiny and will result in immediate expulsion from The Brethren Court.

Article IV: All members must be at least 18 years old. The Brethren Court is a mature community and a fervent believer in good sportsmanship. In addition, all members must utilize the same name in game, forums, voice communications, etc. to prevent confusion.

Article V: Attacking another member of The Brethren Court is strictly forbidden and will result in a 24 hour suspension from all clan activities. Continued offense will result in an immediate expulsion from The Brethren Court.

Article VI: In the event that a member cannot be present for an event, or a member is going to be absent for more than 1 week or more, a letter must be composed in game and sent to one of the designated Pirate Lords as to be accounted for. If a member is missing for more than 1 week then they will be placed on a temporary hold for no more than 3 weeks after the most recent day the member logged in. If the member is absent for longer than 3 weeks, he or she will be removed from the clan charter.

Article VII: Officers will be the governing body of the clan. These Officers will act as The Brethren Court Council. The purpose of the council is to oversee daily operations of the clan, revise the clan charter, settle disputes amongst the clan’s members, and to vote on important decisions.

The Brethren Court [TBC] is a Pirate Clan for Naval Action (PC) on the PvP Two USA shard. We provide a team oriented community where like-minded individuals gather to plunder the Caribbean together.

Our staff and members are valued. Our expectation is that everyone has equal opportunity to be treated with dignity and respect. Treat others the same as you expect to be treated. This includes all players, clans, moderators and administrators.

Our members are expected to be a mature adult. Real life issues will always come first and there will be no repercussions if a member has to take a leave of absence due to real life happenings.

We are dedicated to continuous process improvement and will continue to evolve as Naval Action and its community will. All members are treated as leaders and are expected to voice their opinions, so don’t be afraid to speak up!
