Wasa was a great ship, but all that decorative carving! Can you imagine being told off to polish the brite-work?
Actually it was a really quite a generic ship, it was one of the main things they wanted when they built it because they needed to be built fast so that we could use them for a war that we were in so they built 10 of them I believe and really the only extra thing they had was the front figure that almost all ships have and the rest was just kept simple

Wasa would be nice since it was both a war ship and an East indiaman in its life so maybe we can get the merchant version for open world also

I do not believe paint schemes are that important right now and the devs should probably focus on other things then getting the correct colors on ships

Seen this beautiful ship in real life several times and I just love it, I hope we will see her in game at some point so we can chase that damn Dutch Amsterdam

I was looking through all the ships the Swedish navy had and one name in particular cached my eye, a 44 gun frigate named Gripen. It means Griffin in English and I just thought it was a really good name for a ship. Good work man it looks great

I found this but it is in Swedish but at the bottom there are all the names of Swedish east indiaman ship's and how many cannons and men they had and where they were built or bought and if you need any translation I'm sure people will help you here including me

I voted for Wasa because I love the way it looks and since Im Swedish I had to do it and my second choise would easely have been Christian VII so I have something Danish to shoot at in Wasa hehe

Being Swedish as I am I just feel that the war betwen Denmark and Sweden was so unecessary because instead of fighting eachother we should have teamed up and taken Russia and then continue taking over everything else ... Fighting eachother over small pieces of land just ruined us both for no reason ... just think about what we could have done if we worked together hehe

From a 3D art guy like myself those models are great to see the details, but there is a problem. Without the line drawing showing all of the hull ribs and masts a ship like this is more guesswork than anything else.
These two types of drawings are what artists need first.
I won't speak for everyone, but when I made ship models for Pirates of the Burning Sea I needed those engineering line drawings or I wouldn't even attempt to make a ship model. It is pretty much required if I seriously wanted to make a high quality 3D model of a ship like La Belle or Cruizer that were in PotBS.
I looked for blueprints but it appears the only place that have them is the Swedish National Archive so I mean its possible to get them if they are needed

What does the £ mean in this context?
Not sure to be honest but my guess would be that it is supposed to show how much of the Swedish national budget they cost like on this thing
