  1. Before anyone reads this post I must say I love this game! I loved age of sail! I love ships and history and when they are combined it is even better. While I have had a blast with dreadnoughts, there are things I miss from age of sail and would like to see in dreadnoughts. There are also some mechanics I would like to see implemented into the game. First I really miss being able to recruit officers for ships. The extra bonuses and good perks as well as the bad was a fun mechanic that I truly miss having. As well as the history involved with all the officers who should be remembered throughout history. It was a nice salute to all of them. Expanding on the officers, it would be great if there was a way to designate set task forces with certain ships and officers that would stay together even when sharing a space with another task force. There could be a chain of command that impacts how the task force operates. I would think that distance and time spent away from home ports and Admiralty could positively or negatively impact buffs and debuffs for a task force. I also find it tricky to select certain task forces when they are bunched together on the same space. It would be nice if when you clicked on that task force a list pops up to select which task force or ships you want to move. I have made the mistake of trying to separate ships to different places only to find I can only select the group I had just moved and no others. In this case being able to appoint certain commanders and admirals as well as naming task forces would make it easier to see which task force is which within the popup. Second, I would like more options and information when it comes to shipyard building and use. I wish there was an option to expand a certain shipyard instead of it being across the board. There are many times where I have a very good strategic location for wars but I cannot improve that one shipyard to accommodate my task force. I would also like an option and ui mechanic that not only lets us choose which yard to improve and how much, but incorporates shipyard personnel as well. If I have yards that I do not need I would like a slider to take personnel away from that yard and utilize them elsewhere much the same as the crew sliders for ships. I believe there would be a lot better emphasis on strategic locations if we were able to utilize them to their full potential. Thirdly I would like more information and control of transports. As with task force movement, I would like to see transportation routes that my ships are taking. I do not like not knowing what areas to protect from the enemy when I am loosing transports without any idea how to stop it. transports should have a bigger impact on nations when they are being destroyed and I think shipyards should have storage values that we can see so when a task force docks and resupplies we know transports are needed next turn to resupply. If there is not an ample supply when a task force docks, then the task force is not fully resupplied. This could also come into play when ships are being repaired such as longer repair times or the inability to repair large ships if the port cannot support a ship of that size. Fuel and ammo are not infinite and a realistic game such as this one should emphasize that. Also an option to move shipping routes away from dangerous locations would be greatly appreciated. Fourth I would like a mode that cuts the turn time by half or even a third. when I'm in a heated campaign and I see months go by so very quickly, it really ruins the immersion for me. if I could have an option to take turns week by week would be so much better when it comes to wartime. We love the battles and more control of many ships in an area leaves much more opportunity to have battles without time slipping away and seeing wars last many years and becoming unrealistic. But on the flip side, sometimes like during peacetime, I would not want to have moths go by so slowly as week by week. Perhaps if when a war was started we could have the option to slow the turns down or keep them the same. Maybe the option could be available at anytime throughout the game. There are so many amazing things this game has brought and the devs are dedicated and inspirational with a commitment to history. I commend you all for the great work of art you have made and I would love to see it go into even more depth and immersion. These are suggestions and options of things I would love to see become part of the game and I am in no way criticizing the decisions that have been made thus far. I am not a programmer so I apologize if some of my requests are outlandish and impossible to be brought into the game. Thank everyone who supports this game.

I would also like to see more information and control options about the supply routes the transports are taking so we can better plan to protect vulnerable routes. as of now i am unclear where i should focus my ships to protect transports. options to change transport routes to avoid dangerous areas would be nice as well. i think transport ui should be an important concern.
