  1. Most of those alliances started because of my previous war with Russia, which I didn't intentionally start, but the government thought it was a good idea to suicide the army into Serbia... again. (Somehow I managed to not go to war the first time that happened.)
  2. I (AH) was allied with a bunch of nations. France declared war on Spain, then I think Germany declared war on France, causing me to be at war with France, but then one of my other allies declared war on Germany causing me to be at war with Germany and allied to France? Then next turn I was at war with Spain, Britain, and Germany. Then one turn later I was at war with everyone, and various other nations formed alliances and declared war on each other on the same turn. I wasn't really ready to be at war given that a few turns ago, I was allied to 5 nations and not planning on fighting anyone by myself, much less than fighting literally everyone.
  3. I also see a bug. If you fight a battle at the start of the turn, you don't get the popups that show you which techs you discovered this turn. Mostly annoying, but given how many wars I'm currently in, this affects me most turns.
  4. Oh, it's totally possible to go to war with them. If they ask to be your allies, but ask for money, you can pick the option that pisses them off. I did that because the game was too easy. Only, now I'm fighting everyone all the time and there's no option to make peace. People joined my wars even as I was reducing tensions. I've had turns with 10+ forced battles. In the grim darkness of the 2nd millenium AD there is only war. (and it's not fun)
  5. I had a list of missions generated. I sank a Russian BB during the first of those missions, now that undead ship is showing up in my second fight. (See image, the only opponent is a ship that just sank this turn.) Entering the battle causes the sunk ship to surrender with high casualties immediately. (Also I noticed my own CL was also sunk.) This isn't just annoying, I got VP for sinking the ship again and presumably caused crew losses again? Edit 2: My next battle was a convoy battle vs. a single sunk CA, which made the mission instantly end with no chance to sink the convoy, though I did get some VP for the CA again.
  6. Suggestion: If the AI will just run away in a fight, make the Withdraw button prior to that fight have a 100% success rate. If neither side wants that fight, it shouldn't waste my time.
  7. The Russians were right to suspect Japanese TBs in the English channel, but also given the extreme ranges and the fact that Japan is war with Russia and China, I feel like their main fleet shouldn't be sailing halfway around the world to attack the UK home islands?
