New turrets on italian ships appear way to large for the caliber of gun, The 14" turret (see right) appears significantly larger than the older 16" turret (see left). This makes designing italian ships in the 1910's and 20's quite annoying as even if you have the displacement for 4 or 5 turrets actually fitting them on any of the given hulls with out taking up the entire deck and eliminating the space for scondaries is hard at best. not to mention the ships just don't look right.
