  1. I feel like the way accuracy is calculated is way off. Salvos will be very tight when you fire at a distance and ridiculously wide at close range. There is no reason why at say 1-2 km, a salvo from a triple turret should have 1 shot hit while the other two go in wildly different directions. I would consider doing something like separating accuracy from precision. Maybe have higher gun techs improve the precision of of shots, i.e how tight the salvo is and how close it is to the aim points and have fire control and radar affect accuracy i.e where the guns are aiming. Also keep salvo spread constant as a function of distance or something, like shells have +/- X degrees of deviation when leaving the barrel
  2. It would be great to have an option in the custom battles to choose the tech level for various parts of the shit. Similar to how in the naval academy you can have old tech guns and cutting edge armour on a pre dreadnought for instance, it would be cool to be able to adjust the individual tech levels to say simulate a costal battleship vs a modern cruiser or something else of the sort.
  3. The custom battle mode feels very restrictive. Give me the ability to design every ship in my fleet, have multiple classes of ships, design the ships in the enemy fleet as well and I'll be a happy camper until the end of time. I think the really annoying thing right now is that when it says "custom battle" a lot of people think "noice, time to play out every historical engagement and alternate history scenario ever" but as it stands it's more of a "random battle" mode where you get to have a say about some of the ships in the engagement.
  4. I found the pre-dreadnought conflict mission the most fun by far and would love to see more missions along those lines, and, in general, I enjoyed earlier tech a lot more than later tech The limited abilities of ships really mean that you have to make the most out of every ship in your feel so it's a lot more about planning, positioning and picking the right targets while the later missions really just come down to sniping the enemy from 25km away with laser accurate 18" guns.
