  1. My friend and clan leader, name of hemp is dumb, went away for about 4 months, and came back to find out he is chat banned. I am looking for him to get unchatbanned, seeing as how it is probably a perma ban, as it has ben way longer than a week since he has logged in. Cheers
  2. Here is a collection of painted screenshots taken by me, Maximus Naughtius, over the course of 2 years in the game. The paintings are posted were voted on by my clanmates in RDMP, of Pirate Nation. They suggested that I share.
  3. The AI count needs to be brought back to Pre-batch numbers. Especially on the PVE server, there have been Patrol zones with hardly any AI in it.
  4. I see much talk in nation chat (Pirates) that the chance that doubloons spawn in a hold of AI or otherwise needs to be buffed. I myself have capped 7 traders in a row and haven't found a single doubloon. It just isn't worth my time to hunt AI traders.
  5. Copy Pasted from patch notes Going to use bullet points and be straight forward in my criticism. Things that I like and why: Port UI, gives a feeling of actually being in port and isn't boring to look at whenever I am in port Crafting: ships are easier to craft and cheaper as well, quality of life improvement Resources: buildings are more efficient and produce more, another quality of life improvement Fish now convert directly into provisions, gives new life and meaning into fishing. _____________________________________ Things that are okay: Doubloons. I like how PVP and PVE marks are combined I guess. Less enemy AI in nation waters: the only negative thing I can guess can come out of this is I need to travel further to cap a trader. _____________________________________ Things that I do not like: Teleport fee: It is tolerable at a fee of 10 doubloons, but I would rather see this go away. I would rather not have to sail 30 minutes one way just to hope to buy a trade good that may or may not be there. and sell it another 30 minutes away at some port. It is boring as hell and a major downside. Speaking of, I have been to 7 different ports around Mortimer looking for 32lb carronades, and only found 7. I would craft them myself, but I don't have a forge and can't afford it. Currency: This "reals" thing needs to be reverted. I understand why it was implemented, but it is a little confusing and it seems the prices for things are way too much, such as admiralty ships, I saw a navy brig on sale for 40k from the Admiralty, while an LGV that was crafted by a player was on sale for 42k. It might be inflation, but still. Building wipe compensation: alot of players have been saying they are not seeing the full 100% compensation for level 3 buildings that they had before the wipe, where they only got 8k doubloons max, and hardly enough reals to rebuild. I saw you reply that it should be in the redeemables, but all they got was the doubloons, which is hardly enough for a complete rebuild.

Will edit later if I find any.
  7. Ok I am a fan of the streamlined crafting then, but I am still worried about the doubloons needed for crafting 4th rates and up (lower?), I just don't want the larger ships to become even harder to get and craft. I'd get on the test bed server, but I don't have the time, always working.
  8. Hey, so I created a forum account just to say this. I have played the game since 2016, been apart of several big GB clans like DMENT, SLRN, and ROYAL, fought in alot of port battles and had a blast. I even started the Tournament between the clans going, with big help from Olav and a bunch of others. I absolutely loved this game. That was, until the player base started dying off from all the drastic changes being made in crafting, and cost of 4th rates and up. Then I quit Naval Action for a year and just came back about a week ago. I like some of the changes that I see, like the UI, navagation and map UI, but that's about it. I have been spending this whole week gathering resources to craft a single 5th rate, and I haven't even gotten to build it yet because of the ridiculous needs of upgrading the shipyard, 1,000 iron fittings, 500 stone blocks and 1k oak and 500k gold, just to upgrade it to level 2?? That would be easy for a clan, but for people who play by themselves, that is alot of work. Not to mention we can't even buy decent ships in the port because the only ones for sale are green or blue Renomee's or the occasional constitution classic. If this patch drops that makes it even harder to craft the large ships, I will uninstall this game and probably not look back, because the player base will further die. For the love of all that is holy, do NOT make it even more difficult to craft the larger ships.
