so, servers are merged and someone doing a pve mission is attacked by a pirate in a 1st rate, because after all pvp/e are all mixed in together, and that someone is in a FAR lesser ship. is that how it's supposed to work?

OK Vernon, you have encouraged me to do a maintenance blowout of my computer case. But it does remind me how nice this Corsair case is, with it's filters and ample ventilation effectiveness.

I bought the game back in December, when they were offering the yacht as an early adopter bonus. I haven't sailed it "in anger" yet because it looks too purty to get scuffed up.
Saving it for later when I know what I'm doing.hmmm..., maybe they'll do something like that again

Regular usage of above will prevent what happened to your old card from happening to the new one
In all seriousness - video cards wear out, it happens. I'm running a R9 290x at well over factory overclock with a stock cooling setup and no issues with NA. Keep an eye on GPU temps and keep the air flowing and all will be fine.
funnily enuff, when installing crimson there was a NA profile button, so I underclocked a bit and fans @ 100% and put to sea. NA worked as intended, except it wasn't my intention to be sunk...., twice:(

press gangs. they were a fact of life in the era of NA ,and could be of benefit for those of lower rank but in slightly higher ships. it would work similar to boarding's. you'll goto whatever nation's port you belong to, send out a gang, wait a few min til they return with a few of the unfortunate. you won't be able to press enuff to make up a full crew, but however many more would be of some help, especially when in a 2 on 1 Admiralty mission
