  1. Guys there is no point to fight here on the forum, especially that the best and most fierce players from Sweden (yes, Havok guys), and are not part of this discussion as far as I can see. For me they were the real driving force of Sweden in this war, and they were awesome enemies in terms of skills.

But IMHO they didn't lose because of wearing of. The lost because of ego and bad behaviour. If you want to win in a war against such a big nation as Russia, you have to have not only great fighting skills but also diplomatic. Treating people like shit doesn't help you getting allies, and you need them as fcuk. If you know history, you probably know what I mean.

Anyway o7 to redii, Liam, Tspoon, Liq and others. I hope you will stay in game.

in Eve Online, the Devs made it explicitly clear what is allowed and not allowed when it comes to mechanics.

however, in Naval Action, we don't have clear rules regarding what is allowed and not allowed in a lot of "issues."

    There's a difference.

I haven't seen you pointing that when Havok flipped San Juan (blocking all possibility of port defence - simple exploit) and basically killed Danish nation.

did i mention even battles? You simply said if you can't win exploit, i simply said i didn't buy the game to expoit,i'm not mad because of the exploit why are you mad because you can't win in Ow battles or Port battles?

I'm not mad or angry. I'm not even PB player, coz I do not like sailing big ships. I'm simply pointing that these so called "exploits", like Swedes are calling them now, are normal in open world games with global diplomacy and economy. These games copies real world in that areas and you WON'T change it. That's why these games are so bloody cool to play.

Absolutely right if you can't win in open battle exploit the shit of it ,that's how i improve, nay that's why i bought the game.

Nobody cares why you've bought the game. It's open world game with politics, economy and all other shit. Your nation was using exploits in the past, so expect others to do the same. And if you want to fight in even battles go and find some simple multiplayer games 10vs10 or so...

  5. Anyone who played MMO games like Eve Online is aware that things like deception, spies, treachery etc are quite normal and part of the game experience (for example - https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/09/hilarious-spectacular-eve-betrayal-destroys-player-group-costs-trillions/).  Anyone who will try to prevent peoples imagination in that area will basically kill the game. Havoc was using that "tools" in the past (San Juan), Russians also and probably other nations. I don't see any reason why Brits can't.  If you can't win in open battle simply outsmart enemy in other way...

  6. It was nice 2v1 battle until I stucked in a place where is no bottom and no shallows - look at screens (I have more of them). And I was slaughtered like baby. I know that being sunk is a part of this game, and trust me I did that a lot, but come one, not like this.

Could you devs please at least compensate me lost. It was rly nice ship with cooper , sextant and all that shit.

I understand now your logic now:)  it's under the same (exams + tutorial) button, it does not matter that those are separate tabs with separate name; so..  they are in the same port  UI with trading and crafting and in the same game launcher. And all are in steam together with other games anyway.. so theoretically DS3 and GTA 5 and NA is just one game really because they all three can be launched by launching steam exe

Exactly, as you mentioned some time ago we, who, play this game for 2-3 years are bloody motherhello kittyers, and tutorial should be for new player, which will want to test this game after  release. Right now its kinda awkward. First you have some simple lessons, engagement, and right after that hard battle. I'm not sure if any new player can do it. Really.

Exam is not a tutorial, mate. Its called exam for a reason. So you dont know what you are talking about. You are talking about the tutorial and exam is not part of the tutorial.

Many hard games put a hard boss in the first 15 mins of the game that player must pass but 30% of players cannot do not pass (dark souls 3 or 1 for example), they also put optional hard npcs that you an skip. A lot more ignore them
If you do not like it fine. its ok that you dont like it.

Hmmm in my game Exam in under tutorial button, so....

    1. Doesn't matter if he has smuggler or not. He cannot undock without smuggler flag either, rule: 1 Always have smuggler flag on.

2.. Buy trader, put Indef in fleet and sail out. GG WP

sometimes I'm wondering if admin plays NA? 🤔

You can't buy ship in enemy port when you already have one. So no, its not working :)

  10. Case is simple. I logged out in enemy port which was open for all. Today the port is closed to all, but me and my ship are still there and can't sail out.  It would be awesome to let me get out :D

  11. I have an idea how to change the Pirate nation into something more similar to real pirates. As many of us here are aware, the Pirate nation right now works like every other nation in the game and we basically have nothing that would allow people who want to be free and PvP whoever they want – do this freely. But since you already changed the game from nation-oriented to guild-oriented, we could actually have a nice mechanic, which would allow people like me to be nationless and also be able to sail, earn cash and be happy.

My idea is quite simple. Change the Pirate nation into whatever nation you want – even Italian. And then allow players to be nationless. At the beginning players without a nation will be able to enter any port in the game, in whatever ship they want. But later everything will depend on guilds that hold a specific port. Some can ban some players because of whatever (they don’t like some guys etc). After some time, this would lead to creating small groups of buccaneers/pirates who are allied with some guilds, which should be similar to the real word.

A nationless player would be able to have bases and build buildings only in free ports (like La Tortue) – these would be the center of their activity (they are centers even now, tbh). This idea/mechanic would allow players like me, who don’t want to be attached, cooperate with some friends who are spread over all nations. At the same time, we will be able to earn cash and prosper.

Maybe I’m wrong (you will tell me ), but IMHO right now people who want to be like Pirates and roam freely are mostly in Prussia. And to earn cash, they have to use many alts accounts.😊

  12. For me the biggest issue are knowledge books which drops only from PvE grind. You can PvP a lot and be quite successful with that and still game won't reward your wins with books. You basically have to do PvE missions/battles all over again and have hope for some nice book drop. Or simply earn so much gold to be able pay crazy prices for books like Art of Proper Cargo Distribution which is now like 4-5mln?!
