Couple of years old, but still going strong, especially since a recent GFX upgrade: AMD FX-8 8120 @ 3.8gHZ 16GB Corsair Ram @ 1666mHZ MSI "G1" GTX 960 OC 4GB 2x 2TB WD Caviar Black 32's Couldn't tell you the FPS offhand as I'm in work, but I play on Ultra and it plays smoothly enough that I've not noticed any issues.

On Premium Ships and "Pay to Win"

I've read somewhere that better ships than the premium ones will be craftable by anyone willing to put the time/resources in... As such I have no issue with premium vessels. Sure they give players with more money and less time a bit of a leg up the food chain (and help support the devs in the process) but that's no guarantee they'll have the skill to use the ships effectively - the end result being they have to fork out on lots of repairs, and probably end up farming in smaller ships just to fund 30 minutes of using a premium vessel.
