Probably the same you guys are doing pretty well as well, now we finnaly got a stabil border between our nations, I don't think both of our nation need help.
And we are in the same timezone so we actually have battles.

I think the current system is already to much, I would like to see more players on the sea instead of people taking a plane so they can fight, Do you know that you can actually sail to the place?
I love this game for the Realism so devs please don't do such an arcady thing.

Sounds like a good plan but I think 160% faster reload and 190% speed are a bit overkil, I can imagine something like this but no bonuses over 110%, because the game needs to stay skill based.

This looks more like something from the civil war then from the age of sail.

Most of the cannons of that time didn't have aiming tools except from the knowledge of the senior gunner operating his cannon squad.
With the coordenation of the captain and the gunnery officer they adjust there aim, By firing a ranging shot they see what they are aiming at and adjust the firing ark, and most of the senior gunners knew there cannons because they have had lots of exercising with it, so sorry but the most cannons looked like this, without any aiming mechanism:

Yeah, let's not talk about how 4 spanish ports went full 'MURICA in the last 10 hours.
Seriously, you have no idea the damage you are dealing to every single one of the new spanish players.
"Oh, but they can switch faction!" << what if they just want to play as spaniard? The game experience for the ones that just started just got totally destroyed. La Habana is completely surrounded by enemy ports, and there's nothing we can do to change that because, say it with me.... THE FCKING TIMERS!
And please, tell me again about how you were the firsts to arrive to this game when it was pre-alpha and yadda yadda yadda and you MUST be in the PVP European server, even when the closer u were to European soil was that time u step on the Statue of Liberty.

I don't say that you can't discuss timers at all, not in this post, if you payed attention and looked at my opinion in the discussion for it, you see that I agree that this is getting out of hand so please discuss it there, not in the post that is supposed to be politics.

I thought politics were player based, it would be very strange and also very ignorant to do this, it is probably just a rumour.

Not surprising. But there were a few very large, beautiful Spanish frigates that got caught carrying 6-pounders.
I think they did it to get maximum efficiency, the more important the mission of the ship the higher the better the guns.

Please don't make this into a timer discussion.
And forced timers are horrible, some people have school and work and can't play after 9pm, do you really want to exclude them from playing pb's?

Read back a few pages, a clear statement has been made on that at least twice.A guild alliance thread? I am pretty sure it says political situation. Politics being at a national level; not agreements from one clan on behalf of the entire nation to another nation.

Not many votes for the Christianborg at the moment, but I would vote for it on the hope that it could be in the same class as the Cerberus.
At 195 crew, the Cerberus is the only ship in its rank (that's not a redeemable). The Christianborg looks like it might be around that 151-200 range for the same rank.
The Diana could maybe fit there too but gunwise it's with the Surprise and the Renommee.
We should have more than 1 ship at Cerberus rank.

Yes, we are now playing and having fun a real game with Dutch, who actually is playing at same timezone. Happy uncontested parades guys.
As I said before, diplomacy must not be affected by broken mechanics. You have "the timezone Bomb", ok we gave up and surrended and went to play to another place.
This is a great solution for this problem, hope you will all have some fun in that fight.

This is to easy to exploit as mentioned above, also do you think that like normal XP it shouldn't be wiped in a soft wipe?
That would be bad because everybody is able to craft frigate's (If you made it to lvl25 or above) from the start and that would destroy the arms race.
So no sorry I think this is good like the way it is now.

Than you have your arcady free ships and teleports and we have our hardcore realism experience, win win situation.
