Stupid Ship Repair Logic Lost my Fleet/War!

So I guess a few battleships must have gone to automatically gone to repair in a port that was part of a land battle.  Can't tell them not to, although there were safe friendly ports in the same sea zone.  The land was lost.   The ships were lost.  Couldn't have moved them if I wanted to.  Also, they didn't have much damage.  I took less than 1000 for my whole fleet in the prior battle.  Ships gone.  War lost.  

Game Uninstalled.  Done wasting time on this game.  The repair logic has been stupid since release.
