less hulls = more flexibility

In the current state of the game we have mostly hulls that are just clones of previous hulls. The look the same. So instead of dublicating hulls over and over and just changing their size and stats, give us one hull of each type period. With the displacement slider changed into a length slider with stepless changes we could then decide the size of the hull precisely.

For example it doesn't make sense that in the current state as campaign progresses the cruisers just unlock hulls that are nothing more than clones of the first BB hulls and due to rise of tonnage limit you can effectively just build a early BB with other hull stats and restrictions in armament and armor. This has so many flaws. Why would you be limited to 7,9 inch guns on a cruiser that is the same tonnage and hull as an early BB and why would that hull have other stats in hull form, stability etc.?

If you then add a diplomatic option for treaties that put a soft restriction on armament, armor and tonnage you would have a way of restricting how the ship classes should be build and how much we should build dynamicly with negative diplomatic impacts for not following the treaty.
