Why not just make night time look way more interesting, and offer awesome and unique gameplay opportunities?

i like the idea a lot, but can´t come up with usefull ideas.

For a pirate to sneak on his pray the nights are still to bright.

 

And i would like the day and night cycle be to be in a realistic balance like

id like ships disappearing behind the horizon like in the real world and a telescope in OW, together with the option to improve the view from the crows nest.

I just found this very nice website.

You just select the are you are interested in and on the right side you become different suggestions for old maps.

 

Works worldwide so it´s also super cool to check out your own town or area.
