You may have installed DirectX 11 (software layer), but the videocard have to support it (on hardware layer).

ATI Radeon HD 4300 doesn't support DirectX 11.
From the specs:
DirectX Version Support: DirectX 10.1
My mistake, then. I don't know why DXDIAG told me that the version of DirectX is 11. Anyway, solved.

I have tryed to change my graphic hardware and its solved now. I passed from an ATI Radeon HD 4300 to an ATI Radeon HD 5350. Runs perfectly. Nice rate of frames. Nice sailing. Nice battles. It's all ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

There some information about it could be a Shader Model 3 issue, when the user GPU hardware is not compatible with the Shader Model 3. Well...I have found my graphic hardware is compatible.

We should simulate a battle like this some day and see who would come on top.. Perhaps all the beta testers as england and the pre order noobies as french/spanish !
I think when we have orginized the battle and set it up ready to play it, many of pre-order users won't be simply "noobies".

I think that it is implemented already. When you right click to aim your cannons with the red dash, and press again right click, game saves the last position you've put the red dash.
