Yesterday i have seen the film! It was for a dutch movie a very good movie, with a budget of 8 million.

Welcome guys to the list of clans. We at Tattered Flags thought of going Dutch if there was no american clan and if we decided not to be British. In are early days we were less sure which direction we wanted to go but before to long decided on going US.
I just recently discovered enjin gaming websites. They are free so if you want to start up a website then look them up. There are paid for upgrades that give you extra stuff but the free version is still quite good with, forums, applications, statistics, etc.

We have thought about enjin website, but Ollese and Dimensionaut are very handy with websites and that stuff, so we will setup our own site!

Today i was sailing near my enemy shoot my cannons and turn.
But i was thinking what if you are beside your enemey and you can let your crew shoot with rifles and trow fire sticks?

I'm surprised no one has suggested the obvious name...
The Flying Dutchmen
Instead of V.O.C. you would have D.V.D. on your flag and logo for the Dutch translation. It would look pretty nice and historical even if the name is somewhat tongue in cheek.
Alternatively, since there is a Decatur Armada, you have some great names to chose from, Tromp, Witt and De Reyter. That or the Medway Raiders...

About a forum i think thats the first thing what we need.
I can make a website/forum (not professional)
so we need a domain but than we need first a name..
The cost for domain and hosting is not a big problem.

I think what the best is for the game, use classic music, a big list of it and let it play,
like anno 1602 you got nice classic music no special things.
Ships and classic music will be very nice!

First fininsh the combat system and than make avatars and ports slow and good... let it be a year to get that...

We dont know how the game will be with nations, but its not a problem if we got more people on different nations

What about DLC? extra quests or items what not better is than the normal items?
But please No microtransactions or somthing like that
