seems like the ideal backdrop for a real-time strategy or first-person shooter game like battlefield. It would be silly if it didn't exist, so I just want to know whether it does.

Heya, I thought about taking advantage of the Slitherine sale to enlarge my very shallow knowledge of this periode in US history. But which one, since they offer quite a few titles?! I prefer a shorter turn length, so games with a couple min calc time might be a turn off for me. It doesn't have to be 100% historically. Means, its nice to play historical scenarios but an option to adjust game parameters and randomness would be a nice too for replayability. Also nice to have: historical events/wiki entries to give you at least an overview of the larger events of this periode in time.
