There is no elegant way out of this. Was adding China to the game profitable at least?

3 ways.

1 - Delete some nations ( that will cause upset among some players and probably its not possible with Flags DLC)

2 - Make it possible for 1 nation to totally conquer another one. Defeated nation cant attack conquerors anymore (that will cause upset among some players and would require seasonal map reset - I dont like seasons but there's nothing else besides RvR to do in NA anyway)

3 - Develop more single player, small group content so loosing nations will still have something to do in game instead of changing nations. Make nations less dependad from crafting ports ( this option require a lot of game developement)

Make the borders of patrol zone visible with a line like a tagging circle.

Introduce achievements and deeds including player kills, AI kills, ports visits and conquering, trades done, sailing mileage, cannon ball shot, battle surviving etc etc. 

Make some differences between achievements and deeds between nations and reward them all with cosmetic stuff, titles, ships, cannons, dublons, CM's etc.

Allow scuttling of a ship in an outpost to which we cant teleport anymore and following that, enable outpost warehouse check to determine if deleting an outopst wont cause us to loose valuable assets.

Allow rearanging of outposts on the outpost list. Currently you have to look for them all over the place especially when you delete the old one.

Weekly events

On Peace server make elite ships higher BR for the purpose of the event.

On War server make elite ships higher BR for the purpose of the event and add even more BR for defeated players.

Provide crafting exp for all crafting activities. Ships, guns, workshop, academy.

Ship events every day all around the map in a form of solo AI ships, with obtainable ship notes allowing to choose type of wood but also permit drops for crafters.  50-50 chance for any of those.

Includes: Le Requin, Hercules, L'Hermione, Santa Cecylia, Diana, Indiaman, Rotterdam, Rattvisan, Leopard, Bellona, Le Redoutable, De Ruyter, Montanes, Victory DLC, Santissima Trinidad.

[Help with Understanding Weekly Light Ships]

I think you have mostly answered my question, so thanks for that. Please keep the thread open though, so I can report on the result of the rank 7 leaderboard, in case the top players are still managing results higher than 1200BR over 10 kills.

Yes, the rates for the event are changing weekly unless devs forget to do that :).

As for 1200 BR for 7th rate event, its possible to get bigger result than that. There are players who can manual sails schooners. You also like I said, can bring friends to sink AI to get better result. So having more than 1200 BR at the end of the week wouldn't be surprise for me.

[Help with Understanding Weekly Light Ships]

For 7th rate event you can easily kill 10x LGV which will give you 1200 BR. LGV is sailing in a straight line making it easy target for stern camping.

As for 6000 BR result, it must be 6th rate week. To sink L'Ocean you just need decent Snow. Just stern camp it until it sinks. If you can't do it alone, take a friend. The one with more damage will get the kill.
