The goal to the feature is to provide a natural incentive to only own the number of ports the clan wishes to defend once every 30 days. If clan has too many undeveloped ports for its number it will have to constantly fight. But per port - is once every month

I fully support the change, very reasonable. Sounds like, if you don’t want to get attacked, don’t overextend or don’t own ports haha. And don’t whine about it as you shouldn’t take ports if you can’t defend or develop them

@admin Will a port get attacked if it has a single development put into it? Is there a minimum amount of development before the port isn’t targeted? Is there a minimum amount of ports per clan or county that will get raided?

For what it’s worth, I and most players I interact with love port battles. When else do you get to fight a huge fleet action against 25 enemies? Port defenses renewed my love for the game.

    • Despite acceptance of interference he could not change hostility itself. Hostility points are awarded individually and on exit the battle. Spanish players exiting were creating hostility points (even if other players are still in battle)
    • Player could not affect interference as it is awarded to those who sink ship in a mission and exit the mission. Staying in the mission or keeping it open does not affect or delay hostility points.

Can you clarify - can hostility be gained before the window opens if people exit before the window opens?

Hey Admin, thank you for the insight and investigation. Can you please clarify:

    1) hostility is only gained by players that sink enemy ships?

    2) hostility gained will not be lost by people leaving the battle before the hostility window opens?

    3) does the loss of friendly ships result in losing hostility points?

So far i know la Navasse is the Nr. 1 tradehub on PVE Server ... feels a Bit wrong you can keep it until hell freezes and Nobody Else get a Chance to get ...

So i suggest to let it go, you have had it Long enough ...

Incorrect. If it was due to a glitch, that should not happen. If it was due to something else, then congrats to SKULL

NPC could not and did not attack your port. The only way you could lose the port is if you did not have enough reals in the warehouse to pay for taxes. Its a common mistake

If this indeed happened - there will be no reversal.

Hi all - there was no mistake on this (i.e. clan abandonment of the port by creators/diplomats) and we have plenty of reals in CWH. We're glad you're taking the time to investigate and look forward to the results. If there is any information you need from us, please let us know.

  6. Played with a group and a friend who was sailing his brand new purple Vic, first legit 1st rate he had. Group of 4-5 people sailed against 7-8 NPC 3rd rates. Friend was sailing undercrewed, got boarded, and was captured. Friendly L’Ocean recaptured his Vic but couldn’t sail it away and escape - friendly Ocean was getting pounded but managed to escape - other friends were either sank or escaped.

Toughest, longest battle ever - lost a friendly Vic and a couple other 2nd/3rd rates. Was sailing a Christian alone against 6 remaining 3rd rates. After an hour of maneuvering, shooting, and repairing, sunk all enemies and was able to recapture the Vic and give it back. I’ve lost my first legit 1st rate, know how it feels - giving one back to a friend makes it all ok.
