Why do I have no gold to spend in multi day battles? I’m playing Confederates on BG level and I’ve deliberately left gold in my camp to refit the army...the recruits are there...but zero gold to spend! I’ve read other AAR’s and seen videos where players have gold to spend in camp but I just don’t have any. Thanks for the help!

I am really enjoying this game! I am playing the campaign on BG as the Confederates. In other player’s AAR’s and videos, they go to the camp screen during multi day battles and refit their armies. They always have cash/gold to spend. When I go into camp between days in multi day battles, I do not have access to my saved money/gold. I have access only to manpower/ recruits. Any ideas on why
