It has been reported, just as so many other things. Were they adressed? Mostly not, plenty of issues, and bugs still exist. Early access might be over, and game had its official release, but it is far from it. I assume it did not sell well, and Nick the Developer, decided it was just not worth patching it, over, and over again, he gave up.

    Bold assumption.

  2. This topic was discussed, I'm sure, but I am trying to find the best copy of this book available. To me there seems to be a lot of different reprints that don't include everything. I'm trying to find the best copy of this book for my own personal study. Help! and Thanks!

  3. There has been a couple of post somewhat complaining about this game lately, so here is why I think this game is fun!

I can create an army of 180,000 men fighting for cause against the country I love so dear, march on its capital, and kill everyone I encounter just because I can and want to!

I love this game, and it never gets old.

I played this campaign on the easiest difficulty btw.

Congrats on playing out the campaign!

    Blue Coats.

I love the South, but the North is fun to play.

I agree with AB, the north is fun to play, and congrats on playing through the whole campaign. It is a marathon!

  5. I went through similar struggles when I first got the game way back when.

Your casualties are too high. You should never lose 20,000 men in one conflict. One thing that is pretty basic and fundamental that took me a while to take seriously and implement in my tactical philosophy is cover, and flank. Once you find cover, stay put and flank. Advance to cover, hold and flank, advance. This is simple, yet crucial to keeping casualties down.

Also, protect your flanks with skirmishers, cav, and light brigades.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

It changed. As I wrote, I did support it, buy early, ancouraged others to play it, share links, etc., for what? Just to have another shitty failure early access dissapointment. Should keep lying to myself "it well get better", or just realize what is going on?

As long as all these fanboy keep on licking Nick ass, it wont change. He need to read, and hear that the game suck, and then maybe... maybe there is a change it will get fixed. As long as he only sees "amazing game, etc.", I think he sees no need for any improvements, because why if players are happy with the current state of the game?

    Interesting.

It doesny matter, because noone gives a f... about suggestions. Nick and whoever else makes this game has their own vision of the game. Having it from the early access, the only thing that changed is the man pool, and messages in between the battles, thats it. You might write as much as you want, but for what? It wont be in the game. Its its still in the early access to be honest, and couple next month, years are needed to change that.

The very same bugs that exist since day 1 release, are still there. How can anyone dare to call this crap a "full release"? Its a joke.

That's a great attitude to have.

It's kinda easy to deplete the enemy army during the campaign.  It would be nice if you would just be able to attack Richmond/Washington anytime the enemy army drops below a critical strength.  So for example if you completely trounce the rebels at Gaines Mill you get to go straight to Richmond from there.  After all, if the Union had won the seven day's battles that's what would have happened.  Then you could have a nice climactic battle against the remnants of the enemy army plus a bonus influx of emergency troops.

Some would argue that if the road to Richmond was open, McClellan would not have taken it, but the "what if's" are in another thread. My bad.

    8. No, units move as fast in open terrain as they do in roads.

I don't mean to interject, but Col. Kelly is correct. Using roads and open field get you the same moving speed. However, roads move troops faster than Forrest, swamps, and creek beds.

Agreed! I have the same problem! I like 2000 man brigades, but I'm more or less forced to switch to 2500s. Most games, I'll even hesitate maxing out my army organization, simply because I don't want to deal with brigade sizes.

I never max out army organization. Once I get to 3 corps/4 divisions, and 2000 man brigades, I leave it alone!
