Question, do you have this list stored on a USB?

I always wonder why only James Archer is the only Gen. that you can recruit from the government at the beginning of the game, I mean he only has one known reputation as being taken as a prisoner of war on the first morning of the Battle of Gettysburg, Archer was the first general officer captured from Gen. Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia. So it be kinda nice if they can add more to the government, what are your thoughts?
-
Do you feel that there is a lack of Colonels and Generals at the start of the game? Let me know what you think.
-
What do you think are the best weapons for each unit type? Let me know your opinion.

Anyone having duplicate generals? 2 A.P. Hills or 2 John Gibbons

I love detailed historic information on period era weapons. Weapons museum? Yes, please.
But, I've said it before and I'll say it again; the beauty of this game is simplicity, add too many more layers/weapons/options and you kill that which makes this game special.
But if you are outnumbered 5-1 and your only chance is your Brigade equipment, range, and damage mixed with their experience it helps turn the tide especially when on Hard/Legend where the enemy has weapons two years ahead.

The 1861 Enfield carbine is in the game, it's a Cavalry carbine that the Confederates can buy.
Not really supporting more weapons until the game can make the current ones have a point.
1861 is not available for skirmisher's and infantry which have both used along with the three band rifle variant and I did use "future request".

Just now, The Soldier said:
We already have the 6pdr Wiard, Pattern 1861 Enfield, and the Frank Wesson carbine.
Though honestly, adding more weapons and making them unique is a bit difficult. Nearly all the cavalry carbines right now are utterly pointless because their nearly stats are bettered by other carbines that are also cheaper.
I accidently copied the 6pdr Wiard and the 12pdr together and the musketoon version of the Enfield 1861 both rifle (3 band rifle and 2 band musketoon) is not in the game as for the carbines would just be more interesting options to have.

Would you like to see these weapons in Ultimate General Civil War? Let me know what you think.

What're your thoughts on the 6-pound field gun for a cavalry Corps?
-
Starting a Cavalry Corps nothing but cav, 6pdr artillery, and a few units of sharpshooters and I can't decide whether I should have more Melee cav with the Palmetto equipment or skirmisher cav with the Burnside/Spencer rifles or should I mix it up? Let me know your thoughts.
-
Have anyone else seen the A.I. have 1863 Springfield's while it's still 1861? (Hard Difficultly/Legendary)
-
Would you be willing to pay for DLC for this game? what are your thoughts?
-
Let me know what you think about deploying whole Corps in a battle.

Pretty much *the* reason I never use camp-made Skirmishers anymore. Not unless I want to farm Spencer Carbines, but I can do that with Carbine Cavalry. I think I found out that Skirmishers scale 1:1 a while back (although if you think about it, it would have have been pretty obvious).
Not to mention that Sharpshooters even with sharps or Whitworth's of five hundred can only get (20-60) kills each volley where the detached skirmishers can get (40-80 or 100+ on the flank) kills while being a fresh unit with no veterancy.
-
Anyone wish that Fort Sumter would be a playable battle? Let me know what you think.
-
Who do you prefer?
Detached skirmishers for extra flanking, defending, distracting, backup charge, cannon fodder, and scouting... (250 men)
or
Sharpshooters for long range damage, scouting, (500 men)
whats your opinion?
-
Getting killed being in a random brigade is annoying. This another time where my Division Commander Archer was killed while supposedly being with the 6th unit which was an artillery piece that got flanked by skirmishers/sharpshooters. I prefer to have an individual unit with additional bonuses or able to assign him to a unit and only gives extra bonuses along with a XP boost to that selected unit. Either one would be great.
