Will there be a multiplayer aspect to the game?

single player games are far more boring than real competitive multiplayer. I love this game but I'm already bored with it with no real competition, no ladder rankings no competitive drive. please bring Multiplayer, if you do I know your game sales will increase. -
I'd be happy with scenario based battles like Sid Meier's Gettysburg used to have. We had an entire community on MPlayer with over 500 ranked players and had ranked ladder games, it was the most fun I've ever had and haven't been able to have again in any game.
