I think the 3rd "suggestion" is a little unreasonable, they are trying to get ports for a better experience, not to make enemies.

 

A Neutral standpoint would be preferred for now.

This was just a thought but with the new smuggler system my friends decided we would love to see if a basic cutter can beat a les gros ventre (it can) we did this in a battle when it was green on green, now we all know that there is a duel system in the game but it restricts it to a certain level of BR, my proposition is to have a matchmaking system where a basic cutter can ask a santi to fight and the santi can either accept of decline, in this battle it would be conducted as an "honorable" battle and as such nothing would be gained nor lost this would allow players in nations to test things that they might want to try and even be able to settle beef on the open world.

I cannot delve into this matter as I am a player on PvP2, but I do think that when a nation is reduced to one port they need to be given a chance, on PvP2 there have been 3 nations that have been reduced to one port and are now dormant nations. It is a real bother on PvP2 as we have to worry about server health and if we push too far the carebears might leave a certain nation etc. But as I said I do not play in PvP1 nor do I know the politics of her, but do not let blood and vengeance make you shortsighted.

adding the USS Pennsylvania would be like adding the HMS duke of wellington, It would make the 1st rates we have in the game "irrelevant" and the modern guns on it would prove "unfair" to all the other ships, It is unlikely that they will add it.

I think this system is a good idea, however I think it would be cool to have some sort of customisation for marines, like different "brands" of muskets from different nations and swords that are different from each other eg.cutlass or sabre, that kind of stuff, maybe have different uniforms but that might be a little less immersive.

excuse me for misreading your post, however, my point still stands, calling someone a pussy for running from a 4v1 fight and calling him out on global and then a few hours later saying "your not so strong if you're not outnumbering us wimp", I guess what I'm trying to say is, we didn't have to join that battle and we did, and because of that we had abuse thrown at us for being a weaker force.

I can not see where I did attack you my friend. I did clearly state that I am NOT offending you because I am a nice guy. I am really sorry that you are trying to take a lost battle this into another level. I am taking it as a personal attack.

 

Maybe I should report that as a try to get another player banned and out of the way. Thanks to the devs there are chatlogs showing everything.

in my eyes it was still an attack, It was not necessary to say those things and yet you did, we showed up for the PB and yet we were still attacked by you and your friends, it was not necessary to brag and gloat, admittedly it was not mature of me to say what I said but the point still stands, we were not shown the same respect we showed for you and that is something for you to understand and find out for yourself.

Let me start from the begining 

Biloxi is attcked by the US, 4 players, 3 trincs and a connie on the GB side
US side, I don't remember XD (7ships connies and ingers)

the battle started well and everyone was happy but when one of ours sunk the cockyness had become a little more noticable, earlier during the day one of the Americans had called my friend a "pussy" for running from a 4v1 fight. as the battle continued abuse began to get thrown at GB 
a player calling me a "Cheap roo Fcker" obviously denoting my Australian culture.

I got some screenshots of this if any admins would like to see.

Razees I have no problem being added to the game. Being able to Razee a ship though I think is a fantasy approach that would simply displace real ships from their purpose. 

I do believe that it takes the purpose of building big ships away but, as I said it would be a nice option, I know a Dutch player that hates SOL  but he says that If he could get something with a lower profile and more manoeuvrability that would be the ship for him.

And the sailing qualities part is the most important.  There is absolutely nothing to base this on, so it becomes pure fantasy.  Some razees had better sailing qualities than their original form, some worse.  We only know for the ships that were actually razee'd.

Is  possible then to have  a somewhat random outcome for the ship, if the renovation of the ship is conducted with skill then the ship will be made better whereas if it is done by someone with less skill then it will be the same if not worse.

 

for example, a lvl50 crafter razee's the ship it is done better

and if  a lvl25 crafter does the razee there is more chance that it will turn out worse.

 

This could also create a new market for 5th rates and 4th rates and better for the new PB rework.

 

Also when the officer system is added you might have officers that like specific sized ships or even a foreman for the shipwright to conduct the build better.

There's no point in adding the option unless you're looking to "trade in" one ship model for another.

there could also be the added bonus of getting ALL of the carriages from the ship, along with other assorted resources and mats.

Hi, My clan members were talking on team speak and we stumbled across the conversation of the black pearl and the Queen Anne's Revenge, anyway we discovered that the black pearl was originally a indiaman that had more gun ports, we though about in and the topic of razeeing ships came up, now what I am thinking is that you can have a third rate and you decide that it is not the ship for you, so you get a lvl 40 crafter to razee it for you, it would have to take massive amounts of labour hours and gold but it would decrease the amount of crew needed and keep the overall structure and strength of the ship, but with the disadvantage of less guns and the sailing characteristics of a 3rd rate.

I don't have a flag that you guys can use but I do have an idea, In PvP2 the Brits and the US are trying to get some sort of "fight club" going, now if this fight club could be implemented into the base game then the rewards could be, skins,flags etc..

 

This probably wasn't the most helpful idea but it is just to add more content into the game.

[Sell labor hours as a contract]

I do like this idea, initially when I join the game and someone wanted me to "sell my hours" I thought there would be a system in place to do this easily, however I do not like the idea of "putting my hours on the market" just a system n place so I can just give them my hours and not waste their time or my time.
