I would like to see captured ships, being able to carry recourses back to the port, after you capture them. The current version in game, makes no sense at all. You send a ship back to port with a cargo space 10 times bigger than your own ship, with nothing in it. I would like to see a overhaul of the boarding system. The (rock,paper, scissor) we have now is getting real tedious after the first few boardings. All ai ships have marines but no penalty on gun reloads (as far as i can see), that must be a flaw. I would like to see some sort of reputation system, where you can optain "Letter of marque" to redeem yourself towards a nation. Earning the right to join that nation over time. I would like to have a open sea interface, with a personal map, i can write my own notes on. No captain have ever calculated the same heading 20 times, if the first one was correct. I would like to have a personal skill tree for each character, to allow more customization of individual game play.
