Antiles Rapid Shipping Ent. for the last 3 days have been running British support fleets down to our allied Dutch friends, the Dutch have been under attack from the swedish nation. with over 40 ships sailing down over the three days to lend support. many fights ensued and we succesfully with our dutch allies pushed the evil swedish back. tonight the swedish tried to do a night time raid while most people were asleep in their beds. Luckily a number of dutch were still around and a reasonable group of British were near by after capturing some ports for our nation, Antilles Rapid Shipping Ent. coordinated with the dutch and other british players and mounted a defence of our allies lands. Our combined fleets had a tense stand off while our scouts looked around for the enemy flag ship, we successfully located the flag bearer and kept him in combat until the enemys timer ran out, a mass battle ensued while our enemys outnumbered us and we lost some ships, these losses were worth the effort though and we tied up many swedish ships in battles they wanted to avoid.

Our new found allies treated us with the utmost hospitality and we have vowed to work together where possible to defend our mutual lands and trade deals in the region. Other fleets in the service of the king of england have also decided to abide by our deal with the dutch which is mutually beneficial to both nations. we will be working closely with the dutch nation in future to better our nations.

i live just a few hundred meters away from the sea, smoke lasts as long over the sea as it does in the air, seen a lot of gorse fires and the smoke from gorse is pretty thick and that can hang around for a while. i would say the ingame smoke is pretty real, black powder smoke is thick and ive been in reenactments theirs a lot of smoke, it hangs around for a bit and dissipates fading out to blue hues. the smell lingers on longer than the smoke so be glad you cant smell the cannons
