I have bad luck since last patch too. Before an exceptional ship had a very high chance to drop a BP. Now I crafted 1 Belle Poule and 3 Frigates, all exceptional and no drop at all

People are suggesting we are only winning this war because of port timers and when the real reason we´re winning an offensive PB battle during prime time taking only 2 losses among other things. Try to get your head to comprehend the bigger picture of the topic of this thread please.

 

I read it a different way. People are not complaing that they would win with other timers. Its about to be able to have battles and have fun, no matter the outcome. You showed that you are great seamen, nobody is questening it here.

I don't understand why some of the british posts are so angry. The british fleet is by far the biggest in game and its normal in games that the biggest gets hunted.

Well, this started as a really interesting thread

The forums are getting more entertaining from day to day.

What about having like 3 capitals spread at the "home-territory" as a starting base, rest is neutral. These 3 ports have the basic resources to do the crafting to a certain level. So, when a nation (like SWE in PVP1) is reduced to the three capitals its easier to cennect them again to a home territory by winning 1-2 port battles.

Second Battle of Algericas

 

In 1801, a few days after the First Battle of Algericas, the combined french-spanish fleet moved back to Cádiz. The british squadron stationed at Gibraltar tried to intercept the fleet, but they were still damaged after the recent battle. Not so the intact 74 gun HMS Superb which just arrived into Gibraltar only a few days ago, so while the damaged ships gave up the chase and turned back to Gibraltar, the Superb continued to follow the french-spanish fleet, which positioned itself in 3 columns. The Superb catched up on the fleet at night of July 12th, and engaged the two last ships in the center and the northern column, the 112 gun Real Carlos and San Hermenegildo 1st rates, in pitch black, with her lights turned off, firing from both sides.

 

The captain of the Superb knew that his ship won't be able to sustain this fight for a long time, so he disengaged the spanish ships to look for another target.

 

The spanish ships however didn't notice that the Superb is gone, and continued firing in the pitch black and thick smoke - at each other. As the fight escalated and the two ships boarded each other, they noticed their blunder; but their rigging was ravelled and one of the ships caught fire, which they could not extinguish, nor could they unravel the riggings. Shortly after, the two spanish ships exploded, killing roughly 1700 men. Only 48 people survived from the two ships combined.

 

In the meantime, the Superb advanced forward along the column, and after a short fight, boarded the french 74 gun Saint Antione, and towed it back to Gibraltar.

ich hab mich mal umgeschaut aber leider noch nichts dazu gefunden.

hoffe jemand hier kann mir helfen.

sobald ich im spiel auf die shift taste komme hängt sich meine Spiele.xe auf und ich muss neustarten.

ich dachte zuerst es liegt an der Tastertur oder dem Treiber aber ich habe ein paar unterschiedliche angeschlossen und es ist leider bei allen so.

es wird auch jedesmal eine crashlog erstellt und sie wird auch gesendet.

ich habe das spiel neu aufgesetzt, auf fehler prüfen lassen aber das bringt alles leider nix.

hat jemand ne idee was ich machen kann?

ich komme direkt ohne wartezeit wieder auf den server aber leider komme ich doch öfters an die taste und das nervt.

 

bis dahin immer ne Hand voll Wasser unterm Kiel.

 

Ich hatte gestern das selbe Problem. Nachdem ich das Teamspeak-Overlay deaktiviert hatte war alles in Ordnung (bis jetzt).

Ich glaube ich deaktiviere auch noch das Steam-Overlay.
