  1. So if I'm playing as the CSA then play against Cautious, Defensive, Cunning, or Opportunist? If I'm playing as the Federals then play against Cautious, Defensive, or Opportunist? What about Cunning?

What does difficulty change exactly? Does it just change stats or does it change AI behavior?

It changes the behavior. If I'm summarizing correctly, the farther right you go along the AI scale, the more aggressive they become, and the farther up you go in the scale, the more "smart" or tactical it becomes. So a determined AI will very effectively charge you and push you back, and a cautious AI will be more laid back, and easier to attack. Those being just two extremes. Hopefully I said that right, I'm still not sure about the mechanics either.

  2. Hi Gkiing, that is the whole Order of Battle for each side. There you can see the full army including the units that have faught so far and those that have not. The later are those with 0%.

Maybe you didn't notice the units inside the red boxes? That is what I'm referring to.

  3. Will anything be done about enemy bridages retreating through your units and causing them to rout? I'm fairly certain that, even if we disregard the faulty AI choosing to rout towards an enemy, a routing mob without formation would not do much to an organized formation shooting at them and ready to meet them. I've seen a brigade with over 80% in both morale and condition drop to zero in both and start routing because of an enemy brigade routing into them, even when that routing brigade was less than 50% its original strength.

Usually when this happens I've seen the enemy troops get decimated, not my troops start to rout. Guess it's just different circumstances.

  4. I noticed from older videos of UG:G that when you would gain troop reinforcements, you could see their flags off the edge of the board/map. This obviously has been removed, but is there any chance of having it re-added? I think it's a fairly useful feature, I know I like being able to command my units as soon as possible.

  5. iam more frustrated about routing way. straight through enemy lines or into enemy mass instead of running into the free area or towards general.

Especially the skirmishers are brilliant suiciders.

Yes, this is very frustrating. I've lost entire brigades before because they retreat into enemy fire, and sustain even more losses. Would be very nice if units retreated towards your general
