Major Issue Campaign

Ever since the 1.06 update I cant play the campaign my game just keeps freezing during the ship design process. I have gotten to where I can click start campaign (after designing ships one by one exiting out of designer after each ship and going back in) but after I click start campaign its freezes on the loading screen I've left it for 6 hrs. and still there. Since 1.06 update I have gotten to play one turn before freezing this is stupid as your releasing all these updates to the game (which those of us with this issue cannot enjoy) yet not fixing the issues that I have seen in here with freezing. 

Side Note: During ship design in campaign and custom battles the designer will lag really bad later into the build but is still able to be finished.
