Back in these days of sailing a 10 year old boy could have been dragged from his indebted parents onto a Man-Of-War before even having a glimpse of what awaited him in his life and his duty was carrying huge blackpowder pellets from the guts of a screaming ship in the havoc of cannon balls and splinters flying everywhere and men in all different conditions of martial disintegration laying on the raw planks and bawling their lungs out from pain...  even in peaceful days he heard and saw things on a ship that would make a lubber go blush and shiver

 

And you are afraid of 1 or 2 swearings on a screen that could harm your son???

Believe me, I've tried to get the navy to take him, but his language is too offensive...

Oh no, people saying bad words in the internet! My virgin ears are bleeding!

Not great when my 10 year-old son is watching/playing and becoming interested enough in it to be reading Hornblower. I'd rather he wasn't seeing some of the moronic comments.

I'm rather excited by this ship because Broke was at my school (before me, you understand) and is a bit of a hero...he also provided the school with a swimming pool!
