    For the most part is was almost too easy. connie only fired the broadside at me once in the whole 30 min fight and thankfully so as that nearly ended me :lol:

     

     

    I have seen the same ship hugging tactics used in pvp.  (Belle Poole destroying a Pavel).  I have always wanted small arms gunfire modeled since Sea Trials...like a shot of grape with very small range.

    They can put up contracts and also just buy goods from the store and not sail anywhere.

    What is the rationale for letting a nation build anything in a free town with limitations?

    Level 3 shipyard in enemy territory = not realistic = large fleets having port in enemy waters.

    You should not be able to build a anything in a free town.  It should be neutral from any affiliation with a nation.

  4. Another option would be that the attacker cannot bring the AI fleet into battle when attacking players.  Use the fleets for defense.  Use them for PVE battles.  But when attacking players, the fleets don't enter.

     

    Either:

     

    - Player with AI fleet cannot attack player

    - Player with AI fleet can attack player, but fleets don't enter battle.

     

    This way the fleets can be in game, but not used as gank tools.

  5. New Perk = No Fleets

    Definition:

    The captain is so full of PVP that all AI code becomes buggy and non-functional.

                            OR

    No captain with AI fleet can attack a player.


    I dislike the mechanic that allows one player to outnumber another 3v1, or two captains 6v1, etc.  I dislike how a captain in a trader lynx tries to attack me in my trader because he has his AI fleet.  I wish to perk this away and I would like it to cost one point.

  6. 3 lockups last night.  It does not happen all the time.  3 or 4 crashes the first day of the patch.  Next day no problems.  Last night 3 crashes.  Performance seemed to get better as population got lower but that might just be a coincidence.

     

    Also, TeamSpeak gets very crackly before the crash.  TS is my warning that bad things are about to happen.

  7. I am having serious performance issues as well.

     

    The game had great stability for me until this patch.  My compliments to the devs for such stable code and I am sure this will get fixed.

  8. Sailing my Conni solo and I run across 2 pirates players each in a Renommee.  And each has 2 AI Renommee's.  1 vs. 2 turns into 1 vs. 6.  That is BULLSHIT!

     

    This is the third time player AI fleets have been added to the game and the third time I refuse to ever get them.  I understand you have spent a lot of time coding this with the AI tablet and you want it in game.  I have to ask why?  Why spend so much time on something that wrecks PVP?  All the same problems we had before and fought to have them removed are back.

     

    I have zero respect for any captain I see sailing with them.  Dev's so bent on putting this in game against most players wishes.

     

    Everyone who hates players AI fleets sound out now and get this removed from the game a third and hopefully final time!!!

  9. Yes its a shame people in mubers dont goout and look for enemy to engage. Goout in hunter packs etc and kill tje bad guys like it should be. This game can only be what the plaers make it and unfortunately it seems most players need to be told what to do next or at least pointed in a direction by a quest or something and demand new content weekly when in reality we could be making our own content.

    Do you have any examples of what content can be created by players?
