All keys are being sent in batches every Friday. If you have bought it, you'll get your key.

Wait, theres a collision bell in the game?
Well, yes.
Collision bells warnings right now provide enough time and distance to avoid collision and take corrective action.
Additional signal can be provided on a button - with only concern - some players will ping it all the time, just for fun, making the feature useless.
We can add a text pop-up in addition to a collision bell.
I think it's not the case. Most people don't know what the bell means. If you find a way to inform all the players what the sound means, no pop-ups will be needed.

It's not relevant. It would say 26 instead of 13 then. Doubleshot is defined by the game like one shot, but with bigger damage and lower reach.
-
I've noticed something strange in damage log while sailing Cerberus. Look IDs 62 and 85. How could I shoot 14 or 18 cannonballs if I have only 13 cannons per side?
And there's some strange "global damage" shot with ID 0.

You have the proximity bell sound already.

You can set sails to battle mode with "B" button. It reduces heeling significantly.

There's a minimap bug with boarded ships.
The side of boarded ship doesn't update and if your ally boards someone, captured ship will still be shown as hostile on the minimap.
PrezesOi captured other Constitution and ship was still hostile on the minimap after boarding.

Does our frustrastion must be game related?

Completely irrelevant feature IMO.

Sigh*
Avatars, are a must, period.
The beautiful ship combat can only carry this aspiring great game so far. To put Naval Action a notch above other games there will need to be supportive aspects to the already great naval simulator, such as additional game mechanics and visually interfaces. Players will want to walk around a port from shop to shop or hack through jungle searching for Aztec ruins after many hours at sea.
A limbo screen with options to click saying you're buying or selling goods or hiring new crew is a low standard for 2015 gamers. As I said before I would rather play a game that does 10 things good then 1 thing great.
Long term, short term, when ever, put simply Avatar's are a must for putting Naval Action above par other MMO's or games in general.

I second that.
Noone wants some avatar based FPP slasher boarding, but being able to get your boots on the ground and have a walk around the city would be a great addition to the game. Far more interesting and immersive than just a plain screen with sell/trade/recruit option.

And you should take into consideration the current stage the game is in. You bought a game in early testing phase and you're like "I can't enjoy the game fully because of bugs. I won't play this!" It's kinda childish.

Wesołych świąt!

Weather forecast. : D
I get your point. The best way to solve this would be an option to customize the UI, change the direction of the arrow if you want.

It's not intuitive if it contradicts a universal convention that many people are familiar with.
I'm not familiar with this convention and I can't be the only one here. I would be confused as hell at the first few moments if you reversed the arrow.
-
I completely disagree with you, Scud.
Currently you have 360 degree scale which represents the directions and an arrow representing the direction of blowing wind. How can it confuse you?
It's a game UI, it doesn't have to follow any convention as long as it is intuitive. And I find its current design easy to comprehend. You have to think about people that don't have any nautical experience. They just want to have some fun while playing game like this and you shouldn't force them to learn any conventions used in real world, because it's not a real world.
-
So don't think about it as a wind, imagine it's a vector of the force that is pushing you in certain direction.
problem = solved
-
Personally, I prefer to see WHERE is the wind blowing. It's just an UI, not some kind of meteorology device.
Devs could make an option in settings to change the direction of the arrow.

I only had the towers in a fight once. Are they supposed to have no textures at the moment?

already posted a bug report ingame but didn't provide a lot of details.
whenever i jump into a game my rudder is stuck to full port(can still use it but always go's back to full port), now i've read that having joysticks and such plugged in can make it go wacky so i tried with everything unplugged and my rudder still go's full port, getting kinda annoyed. i'm using a Mad Cats V.7 keyboard and a cyborg Rat 3 mouse if that helps.
Try to uninstall the joystick drivers. Someone had the same problem few days ago.

Yeah, I wondered the same yesterday. Wouldn't be better to name the ships after their classes?

Sounds great.
I have one suggestion.
Have you thought about some kind of a "toggle entry lock" switch instead of shortening the times? If you're a solo/small group player, you can lock a battle from your side, preventing any players to join a battle on your side only, without need of fiddling with entry timers.
