Every time I try to launch game it just crashes?

I too remember when I realized how much fun it was sailing some of the early ships like the Privateer and Lynx.  I still find myself go out for cruises and attacking AI in my Privateer.  Lots of fun!

Now if we could get more explanation on the fire modes (unlocked focus fire auto, ect.) that would be awesome!  Getting frustrated with broadsides firing in strange places at time?

I see I'm not the only one having this problem.  If I click off the main screen on my secondary monitor to look up something on navalactioncraft or something it minimizes the game on the main monitor.  Oh well,

[Brief guide to catching traders.]

I wasted an evening chasing Traders in my yacht.  I think I have it figured out now though.  I did notice one time I positioned nice and close and with them in between me and the wind and it still positioned me in the opposite side.  Was frustrating.

I got a Traders Snow last night so I was pretty happy!

Pretty nice.  Was thinking I would have to do something in excel to keep track of prices.  Nice to know when you find a good price and can stock up.

[Joining Servers And Queue Times]

Ya I'm in the queue for PvP One.  Started at 27 minutes and I'm down to 15 minutes.  Wish I could play.  I bet people are just logging in and leaving it on so they don't have to wait to login again.

I have to admit the server issues are kind of annoying me as well.  Should I change servers and throw away what I've accumulated so far?

Then there's the characters.  I'm having second thoughts about the faction and would consider changing but I'd have to start over.  Do I do it now because the longer I wait the harder it will be.

Maybe things will be sorted out in a while.

I wondering if anyone knows of any good naval historical fiction from earlier times like the 17th century?  Seem most of the books are around the Napoleonic wars and the British Navy.  You think there would be some books about the Dutch exploits or the Spanish Armada with Sir Francis Drake?
