thanks again though.  i guess theres something im missing in gains mill as i consistently cant get past that 1.

my guys run, 3 units fire on 1 of mine and all score strong hits mine fires and kills four in 1 unit. both are in woods. is there a guide? i checked the question mark in game and already know all the basics. want to like the game but loosing the same battle for the same reason over and over(since its one that affects progress, i cant progress). im quite frustrated. let me know on here or via email dougbiv@gmail.com   ive tried what i know and this is getting a little nutty.

the ai gangs up! i havent been able to counter that on gains mill. thats the problem. gang up+massive blitz attack against 1 unit

have you gotten to gains mill its either the 2nd or 3rd part of that 1.

i did try the tutorials, im missing something somewhere. they take 2 vollies and done. consistently get flanked(chalk that up to the ai).

though that setting doesnt seem to have done much. gains mill got slaughtered again.

plus check green troops vs veteran setting on the camp menu. i was all green..no wonder

check your army org points and your unit strength/weapons. i missed the army org points allotment and was trying to fight battles with 800 850 against 15 16 1700 strength units

im missing something. they still run. the ai is too good for me even on easy. thanks again though for the pointers. looks like im letting it go for now. too frustrating

thanks! ya i think reading the ground/cover is my issue with an annoying side of ai constantly flanking me.

the train station isnt an issue other than annoying. the issues start in the battles after the train station

super excited to try the game but my soldiers run way to easily. vollied at once or twice and they are done. i lost bull run malvern hill and gains mill because of this and am supremely frustrated. any help/ideas would be awesome

great game but Im having a bit of trouble getting my troops to stay in one place for longer than it takes to fire one volley(usually they fire one volley and run)
