    What is the original picture of this image? I know it is a famous thing, as I have seen it in an exhibit at the Royal Navy museum, but I am unsure of the name.

    Let Players report offensive names. Click a ship and report it. There must be moderation, and people who name their ship obscenely shall be struck by the mighty.

     

    Edit: Unless they do it cleverly, of course. :P

    Chromey: (we should make it so you left click enemy ships then push 1 to broad side, 2 to demast , 3 to shout (demoralize debuff) , then 4 to board.  1 and 2 work well but 3 and 4 are good too. 5 is repair aura.)

    I would hope we have a level of customization, emblems on sails, "historical" paint schemes, figureheads, ect ect. I hope, however, we don't get such a customization that we end up with hot pink Warships sailing the highseas....because I'd end up doing it myself. I still have pictures of my Wenden from PotBS in pink colors.

    Agreed.

    I hate the people in PoTBS with lime green ships and other unrealistic colors.

    Didnt say I liked the skills.

    Some people are like omg lets make it like LoL and WoW lolol

     

    Though I believe I have heard that the game was going to be an openworld mmo, and I think a small asset such as this is basically in every MMO game.

    Hence, if we dont have this in the game, here comes Leroy Jenkins with his baseball bat.

    Kind of like PoTBS, you get to choose a class and have different skills.

     

    (no, i dont really want this to happen, but I`m saying it so Leroy doesnt suspect anything)

    I myself am not really into skills. I like it, and I dont. But, I think it would be "neat" for some people, as I`ve only suggested this to help the "MMO" side of the game.

    Not that it bothered me any, but I read somewhere, those circular cutouts in the gun ports were from a later date.   Do any historical buffs know what for and how those round holes were used?  What was their purpose?

     

    The circle holes were there on the gunports so that when the gunports are closed, the cannon still sticks out. I find it useless though, you`ll still need to open the gunports

    Maybe you can walk around in your ship interior, such as go to your cabin, or see the seamen on deck as you walk?  :rolleyes:

     

    EDIT: I think also you can rank up in the Royal Navy if you choose it. Such as getting a comission to Middie, then ranking up. Your ship depends on your rank, so as a middie youd get a cutter, etc. Your crew gets uniforms, such as when you are an Admiral you get a captain, and 3 lieutenants, and 3 midshipmen, some marines, and how many seaman.
