That's it mate, you have been forth right all along.
Plus under promise and over deliver, I say.
I just wish you guys get rid of the Two Nations that wasn't really big in the area,.....Danish, and Swedes.
it would be a whole lot more fun if you did.
Even if this is true, I like that they add to the variety in difficulty. NA goes a pretty unusual way to determine the difficulty settings for ones game: choose the nation.
Swedes are probably the hardest regular nation to play, because they are not established forces like brits, murica or spain. Well, at least I don't mind.

Compared to the time I spent in this game those 37 something € i spent are laughable. I wouldn't dare to demand anything, because the contract of "you may play earlier than release at your own risk" is overfulfilled. Everything else I might have suggested or critisized were under me being well aware of the unfinished state of the game. So there is no "admin you MUST do this"...there is NOT! Instead there is "id like to see this and that in the future".
The question if the PR handling is good or not never even crossed my mind, because I simply dont expect anything in EA phases of games.
Or another example: triple A game 60 bucks, average playtime 20 hours-ish...makes 3 $/hour.
I have hundreds of hours in NA.

I like the idea of disabling the coords while sailing inside a storm. Having no coords at all in general and no other means of navigating while getting lost is probably only fun if you have way too much time on your hands...
I do like this.
And I am totally not staring at your Avatar.

Just leaving a hullo here.

The probably most hilarious ones in (beware!) PVE:
RA fleet mission, most of us set up for boarding getting nice and close to get those tasty first rates (there were a lot of them there), one of us shot at an AI Victory right as we all were really close to pull the respective target --> fire, crew shock -> fire shock and a few moments later around 20 masts (friend and foe) fell into the water as the Vic blew up.
Oh my ears are still tingling from that laughter.

Another one was the sight of my first bottle wreck. It was kind of sad and dreading, the poor thing with shredded sails, bobbing about in the seas...just imagining ending up like it because situational awareness fails..."shudder
-
I do not have screens of that, but my first magic moment was the first storm in OW way back (no coords, no grid), i got completely lost in my Cutter, and after about 2.5 hours of sailing finally: "land ho!".
That was how I envisioned it to be.

Well, admin is still here, his staff is responding and there are things going on at the testbed. I sunk a 4-digit amount of playtime hours and dont feel scammed.
Id sort those reviews into category C - lies.

The name of the new ship?

Hilarious. I read
"The name of the new ship?"
"Delay".
Take your time deploying patches, there will be enough people complaining wether or not you do it.

Steam is a third party I could do without. I always prefer my games outside Steam if possible. Mostly because I like to be in control of my own stuff, and giving control to Steam (that, for example, forces me to update games when that will break mod setups etc.) is disconcerting. Also, it's a kind of monopoly - monopolies are bad by definition if you ask me. Lastly, it doesn't leave room for old direct IP connections when playing multiplayer with friends, which can be very annoying when playing some games (especially older titles I suppose).
Just regarding the direct IP game: it still works. Most games even depending on this have their own built in dedicated-server-batch file setup or even featuring a direct hosting executable. Never had issues with that.

And it prevents yourself from having massive file clutter everywhere, everything is neatly organized in the good ole "steamapps\common" thing. No matter how many libraries you need on your partitions...( i have 4 ).

Anything is better than EA Orgiins system. I swear it took me 12 hours last week to download ME2 and 9 hours to get ME. I haven't even tried to put ME3 back on my computer. I wanted to go back and play all three of them as new play throughs after watching the new teaser for ME:A. Now tell me that is some sucking download speeds,, than again it was allso during Battfield 1 Beta testing weekend so that might of been why.
As for the computre thing that takes no time but it's a pain cause I get my work laptops swapped out all the time and I have to reset it on those computers every time cause I keep an external drive of all my games for travel to use with them.
I think the recent lag problems is something else going on. NOt to mention the DDS attacks folks been getting in TS. The servers all seem to be in the same area that are having issues so it's prob major packet lost from certain routers we have to use and others don't to get to the game servers.
Are you using a mobile connection? I am using both Steam and Origin and never had issues. Took me about 2 hours to install the Witcher 3 + alll DLCs with Origin (thats an average of 7MBit/s) and my updates on steam are too fast for me to click the "show downloads" button. Steam is fine, never waited longer than about 2 hours for the support to answer my requests and stuff. Way better than it used to be back in the beginning of it.

Vielleicht hilft dir das weiter. Das .gif zeigt die optimale Yardstellung für Geschwindigkeit/Drehung mit/im Wind.

I'm just wondering why stay sails and studding sails need to be static as they are (either you do have the upgrade or you don't). It should be possible to raise/lower these sails as you like with any key. Stay sails shouldn't give a penalty downwind because you could just simply drop them. That would be more accurate in my opinion.
You can drop them staysails, it is called depowering. The problem is, that the spritsail will be depowered, too (what does not make sense to me because it isnt moving nor doing the same thing as a staysail).
An additional studding sails reef button would be neat, tho.
Or even a take down square clothes upwind (per mast).

When you know the basics but need to get more efficient:

Or just increase the render distance significantly with spyglass + curve.

Or rather some kid bike stabilizers.
Edit: capsizing repeatable confirmed. well a rather funny way to get rid of excess durabilities and officer lives i suppose.

One of the spainsh has some screenshots of his great adventures with the gunship. We so going to need to do a big battle with a bunch of these little guys.
That battle ends after about 3-4 minutes with 1 side completely upside down.

Hullo,
just tried that cute little thingy. And i capsized without being rammed, not even touched by the enemies ship. Just changing the weather side going downwind + a tiny wave and me ship drowned.
That is rather funny, but I do not know if its intended.
I F11'd it and wanted to post here as a heads up.

Tyren

Intercept: catching an fleeing AI in Open World (just as you would tag a player) with the AI as a criminal/smuggler/pirate, aforementioned ship will try to run as hard as possible

Feedback nach dem Patch 10.0, Wipe

Fertig is der Lack.
