Yes 2 days ago, using AGA'S

first off 2 days ago we defended a port and no we dont get 50 marks we get 1 a day like everyone else

also just b.c a clan can pull their resources and get stuff faster the you going solo doesnt mean we are cheating it means we work better and harder then you

maybe players play them as  rifiters?

basic cutter problem is back and will disappear once players try changes and move on. It happened last january and will happen again on release.

Should we deny cutters ability to contribute from the start AND spend time on coding (like we did on auto disconnect and queues that became useless in 2 months)?

i would rather you work on the coding to fix the issue with the basic  cutter and then it wouldnt be a problem on release

  3. i personally dont think basic cutters should be able to pvp anything other then  a basic cutter. Why should someone have to risk a ship/crew/cannons and cargo to have repairs for just some basic cutter to be able to tag them and not have to worry about loosing anything. Its just a troll ship at this point b/c 10 basic cutters can kill a 5th rate no problem but that 5th rate cant get anything out of it.

  4. Outposts = ships/items = database entries = cost. We don’t want subscriptions. Maybe there is another way but we have not yet figured it out.

have yall considered making an option for a sub if you want the option of having more port/ship storage. That way you can still have it free to play for most of the player base that doesnt want to but its still there for someone that wants to. That way all the other aspects of the game stay so its not a pay to win kind of thing but you will have a little bit of an insintive to do it

  5. think the easiest way to deal with port battle OW log is to make a zone around a hostile port were you cant log off at/ if you log/disconect it puts you at the edge of the hostile zone. This way if you dc you arent punished as bad for it if and it stops people from logging in right next to ports.

Escape is nice but would like to see if you jump out into open world it puts you X distance from were you came in to rep the time you spent sailing away. So say i sailled away from the enemy and managed to get away and out of the battle now when i jump out to open would im moved (in the direction traveled to escape) a rough amount of distance in that way in OW.

  6. When sailing a second rate, I think running from a heap of first rates is good sound practice. Admit it, most of your fleet were SOL with plenty of first rates vs the US with a much more mixed fleet. Number of players alone does not paint the picture.

You must also admit from your own description that pirates are acting more as a nation with huge fleets rather than the more traditional raiding pirate. What are you? Pirate or rogue state? Moreover when I went in there were few pirates left outside. I watched you mostly "blink out" of OW before I even entered the PB, allowing me straight entry. The US fleet gathered outside after the PB and sailed North. You guys reappeared and came up behind.

What you can't get away from is you use all the available mechanics to promote ambush while whinging outrageously at any mechanics that protect ships near their own home waters. It's hypocrisy.

ok ill give you an example that has happened and proves that smaller ships when outnumbering bigger ships can win. We BLACK clan just did a port battle in 4th rates. on the way back we found 2 1st rates a 3rd rate and a trinc. instead of staying together and making a fight they ran from the 10 4th rates that we had. (and yes we had more numbers but yall had bigger ships) we then took the 2 first rates and the 3rd and trinc left them to die. This is how the pirates have gotten so big. when i moved from US to pirates i had 2 first rates and 2nd rates. In the 3 months or so that i have been with pirates i have capped 5 first rates and a number of 2nd and 3rds. EVERY time was b,c they were alone or would move way from all their other ships

  7. No, it has not been that way.  It used to be that once a flag was planted, we had 40 minutes to join the battle.  It didn't end just because no attackers entered immediately.  Your memory is not accurate.

sry cranky but it has been that way for a long time. If an attacking player doesnt get in before the 2min timer to leave ends then the def can leave and its game over for the attackers. This has been used by the US back when false flags were a common thing.

  8. C'mon. I have seen the pirate's SOL gank squad at work. You wonder why no one will go near a pirate? It's because you never know how many pirates are actually there. Then you complain about game mechanics others used to defend themselves from your own gank squads whilst happily using whatever mechanics you can use to ambush others in force. I was on PVP2  just trying it out and actually starting to enjoy the challenge of rebuilding my financial and crafting position but this patch has done it for me. I can't even craft a frigate now.

I found your enormous gank squad both awe inspiring and also a PVP motivational killer. Your navy is bigger than the US navy and you wonder why they avoid you. Sorry, the sheer hypocrisy is just too much not to say something.

the sad thing is there are really only like 4-6 of us on most of the time when "ganking" and even then its not really a gank so much as we find prey that isnt paying attention and then we eat said prey when they give us the chance. Just b.c we run around in 4th-2nd rates most of the time and bring out 5-6 1st at a time when needed doesnt mean we have the biggest navy just means we work together better and half of our first rates we have taken from stupid people that sail around by themselves just asking to get their ships taken

  9. It looks great, and thats where it ends:

    It got poor airflow

Its too tight in the back(thats what she said) for cablemanagement

They say its designed for watercooling and silance, but it feels like thats the last thing it is made for since if you wanna put a rad in front you have to remove most if not all of the hard drive cages :/

should look at HAF 932 i have that and it works great for airflow and running cooling lines

  10. another question i have for the rats is with its allience mechanics and the new hostilities to capture ports do you still need to be in war stat to do that. I know it hasnt been talked about for some time but back when the idea was first brought up you would have to be at war with the nation to comence hostilites and thus take their ports. So if the rats are at war with everyone does that mean that we are always making hostility or is it only with nations that are expresed as at war with.

  11. i think as bad as people are making the new tag system out to sound it is something that needed fixing and we are TESTING this game to help make it better. Really only one thing for us to do is test it then come back with what could be improved. I for one am looking forward to a new tag and battle timer system that could make this game better and help with the gank/revenge fleet troubles.
