  1. Next content patch the minor fix to timers is going to be deployed (main rework will come with the politics patch)

After the patch Lords protectors wont be able to change the timer time any more.

If you set it for 6am it is going to be 6am forever until recapture.

After patch hits you wont be able to change them.

In one sentence you say we can't change the port timers anymore, then you say on recapture you can on second sentence and then on third sentence you say we wont be able to change them... clarify please

Also, why not just do a port wipe instead of having people run around changing timers now or is the port wipe coming with the major patch?

  2. My clan went from having 34 on right now last night to 15 on right now.. great job devs. We just found out about this less than a week ago, and it brought players back that quit the game because they got tired of the grind / solo mission play / splitting up the clan to grind (we are a gaming community) now you take it away so now they are gone.. great job listening.. majority of us said to leave it until you can replace it.

This was the first fun thing to do that we've found we can do as a large group since port battles, which people have grown tired of.

PvP 1 is dead as this time frame, and this is not going to help it.

    Again, great job listening.

  3. That being said, this bereavement of PvE action can easily be resolved with group or even clan-based missions (5, 10, 20, 25 man missions) and/or massive randomly spawning events in the open ocean.

I agree 100%, but until that is implemented I see no reason to get rid of this. We just started doing this, and now more people are playing the game now because it's more fun because we are all playing together.

  4. We are conflicted about this for one reason

    1) Right now you cannot find a large PVE engagement even if you want to.

    2) This feature (or to some players - exploit) provides this option

    There are two solutions

Disable reinforcement until large pve fleets or epic events are added

Keep reinforcement and close the eyes for people arranging PVE for themselves.

Keep in mind that a large port battle generates a lot more XP and Gold (from 3000xp and up to 1 mln gold if you participated in a very large engagement)

And OW trafalgars if they happen provide a loads of xp and gold for both sides because there are no victory modifiers - you get excellent xp just when you sink enemies even if you lose the battle.

So what is the community view on this?

    Disable

    Or

    Keep?

This is the only thing to do for a large group of players (20+ players) in PvE currently and be efficient

Keep until the game creates these fleets on its own for large clans to fight

My clan is paying my friend to do this, so he is banking while he plays warthunder

  5.

As stated previously. I was under the impression that they only aimed to take a single port either way and not continue onto the two ports we intended to flip with the danes. As shown in this -

I do not see the issue here and again I apologise for any issues we may have caused. But you can clearly see Penta state FTS wanted A port to hold and they intended to hold the port they took. Even saying this, they then just attacked another nearby port. So either way we did not deprive them of content. If indeed our aim was to prevent them from taking any ports from the Danes. We would have pulled the flag for Samana which we knew they were going to attack. Or pull it for ALL surrounding ports rather than just the two we had aimed to swap with the Danes.

This screenshot was taken after we took Samana and AFTER KOTO grief pulled the flags for Macoa and Higuey.

Do you really think I would tell you all of the plans and be 100% honest with the ally of the nation FTS voted to attack days before we did so? (do you believe everything enemy tell you?) The plan was Macoa and Higuey after Samana, and you knew this due to intel you told me you received (valco told a KOTO member a day before), so you can try to spin it all you want.

I'm not upset for myself being griefed, I'm upset for the guys we had log on specifically at the time we had them do this exact exercise, and completely wasted their time sailing. They were griefed, and there is no denying it, spin all you want, but you know what you did was wrong. These guys were alpha testers that are taking a break from the game until the UI is updated, but they come on to help FTS community, this has left a very bad taste in their mouth that I hope the Devs can remedy by punishing those obviously guilty.

  6. Definition of Griefing via Wikipedia :

Griefing is the act of chronically causing consternation to other members of an online community, or more specifically, intentionally disrupting the immersion of another player in their gameplay.

FTS is a gaming community, we have members that do not play this game anymore / taking a break that we got to log on just for these attacks. This griefing has put a very bad taste in their mouth, and is not helping Naval Action grow its player base / recapture players that are taking a break from Naval Action.

I really hope something is done about this for the sake of Naval Action.
