  1. Get rid of this stupied BR shit. Is no fun we travel to gather in a group of 12 and we get split up in 500 fights......

     

    Agree with it.

     

    It destroys the open World Feeling. Get Rid of Battle Timer closing. Let the Match open for the Whole time. Ships once Joined cant rejoin but everyone else can join as long as the Fight is going. Maybe far aways but as long as its going its open.

     

    This can help (with the new Land patch) that the Tide is Turning more than once in a Battle!

     

    Please get rid of all BR Diffrence Anti Gank and CLosed battles.

  3. Ich hoffe hier immer noch Spieler zu finden die aktuell bei den Dänen spielen oder da mal gespielt haben und uns vielleicht mal ein bisschen Einblick geben könnten. Das die nur grinden grinden grinden wie die anderen Nationen glaube ich nämlich gerade nicht. Irgendwas muss sie doch so erfolgreich machen.

     

    Ich glaube nicht das jetzt so viel verloren wurde nur weil Schwedenspieler egoistischer sein sollen. Das halte ich für totalen Blödsinn.

    stehe grade unter dem Eindruck von den Angriffen der Dänen die letzten Tage. Ich kenne die Stärke von meinem Clan und kann das dann auf die Schweden insgesamt hochrechnen. Trotz Moral, Taktik usw. usf. bleibt doch einfach ein krasser Grindunterschied. Sie haben einen großen VOrsprung bei Rängen/Schiffen obwohl sie zur selben Zeit gestartet haben.

     

    Gibts da irgendein Geheimnis bei denen denen was die anders machen um zu leveln? Wenn ja würde ich das gerne wissen.

  5. Hello there,

     

    when i enter a Combat in an Instance after OW Sailing all ships are stuck and i cant rive orders because the lower HUD is missing. Then i see Smoke of Cannons when enemy is shooting. When i press "ESC" i see my new Ship position but it isnt moving at all. I can leave Battle etc but i cant fight because the Ships arent moving at all.

     

    So anyone can help me with it?

  6. Just loaded the Last Patch. Cant login when i push the Button "Steam Login" it says "Connecting Via Steam" and nothing more happens.

     

    Anyone can help me with that? Restarted Steam. Same problem. After 20sec it says "Auth. Error"

    I want to make it blunt, and please share your opinions on this. I think currently the cannons are way to accurate on long range engagements. You can broadside enemies multiple kilometers away. To counter this, maybe we could have two aiming modes, one long range one that is much more imprecise to what we have now, and a close one, let's say about 500m in. I think the current aiming model is way to precise on long distances. There might be historical references or something but it just doesn't feel right at the moment. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this matter.

     

    Aiming Precision on the Crew after a Ranging Shot is way to high in PVP right now. But after Crew Management kicks in i hope that this will change. On the other Hand even single Hits should matter more. A well placed, or lucky hit Salvo should have a greater impact on the outcome of a Battle.

  8. I supported SC back on kickstarter... but the simple fact is that I don't have any fun playing the arena commander... And Iam actually not sure why.

    Maybe because it play more like a first person shooter than a Classics space fighter game like wing commander or x-wing?

    (And I have no idea how many hours I spent on the old games... )

     

    I have player NA 5-10times more than Arana commander and have fun with it... (and I paid less money for it)

     

     

    I also supported Kingdom Come: Deliverance... (as a medieval archaeologist it was pretty natural to do so)

     

    Same here. I backed to get the hornet and i hope it gets a good game. I like that they try to be visionary and stop saying "no, not possible with the current computers" but start thinking over boundaries. But im not hyped. This Game needs more than 2 Years to be released at least. Expectations are to high and it will never reach the standard of the hype it generated by marketing. Sometimes i feel they should have asked the church how to setup a Star Citizen religion. It makes me laugh and sometimes i feel unconfortable when i look the Conventions where the "followers" of that new religion met and praise the Lord.

  9. That was the Pic that i had excatly on my mind! Thx for Posting it. But how is the Mecanic working? Is there an Arrow of Force going on the Ship and after Penetrate/partialpenetration it travels further through the Ship doing Damage?

     

    New Damagemodel is a huge step forward. I agree. But i hope we get more partiotions on those Hitboxes. Like Officer Hitboxes, Steering Whell maybe? That should have a bigger Impact for some Time till the injured or dead Crewmember is replaced by his sucessor) then just simple Crewmember Hits?

  10. With 4.0 Damagemodel we get penetration. So if i understand that right there will be a Line in the Ship where it penetrates and what the Ball damages? Or is it just Hitbox on the Hull of a Ship?

     

    If its the first way around i would like to see some Crew Damage by Hitzones/Boxes. So you cant model every Single Soldier on the Ship. Performance Problems etc. But how about Hitboxes on the Ship where Crew Like Sailors (in the Sails), or Guncrew (on the Gundeck), or some Officers mostly where?

     

    So if you hit on the Hull where the Canondeck is and you penetrate. Then there is a chance that Crew that man the Guns will be taken out.

     

    Is it possible?

  11. Yes, they say that the weight of the shot is 1/4th that of shots used on warships, whatever that means.  I assume it is a 6lber?

     

    But the say they also scale the wood so it isn't as thick as what it would have been, but I don't know if this test is exactly reliable.  I wish they could have got a scale gun like an 18lber and made the "hulls" the correct size.  32lb carronade would have been nice as well.

     

    Yeah, scale down the Woods wasnt the best move. Also i dont know why they dont make a Statement on the Weight of the Shot, the Powdercharge, the  velocity etc. no good science from them. The other Video i dont understand. Swedish?
