And that's why Council should be able to put ROGUE CLAN in Pirates or in status that forbid them to do harm to they own nation.
That would be terrible, it would boil down to the largest clan dictating what the nation does. You disagree with a treaty? oh well off to the pirate nation with you. No thanks.

I would love some more pve elements and random events in the open world to relax to after some good pvp battles.
That said, i feel that diplomacy mechanics are much more important right now (from a pvp perspective). So that gets my vote.
Both choices are needed though, more pve content whether that be missions,events,new kinds of a.i fleets etc is key for the longevity of this game. I say this as mainly a pvp player, when people have nothing to do but sail for hours looking for a fair pvp fight... they get bored/frustrated real quick and we have seen many people leave recently. Give them something to do besides just grinding a.i fleets and we will see many return. As well as giving the rest of us more things to do in-between the pvp action.

I find it ironic that the only Pirate clan to act like actual pirates are called British(puppets) by other nations. My respect goes out to those Pirates and Swedes who have not fallen for the false Danish(and that one Norwegian) propaganda.

Please explain how referring to the French as a vassal is insulting/flaming/trolling? Jesus you really can't say anything these days without people getting offended. Quite pathetic if you ask me especially when it's quite obvious it's friendly banter between enemies in a computer game.
Next time a French player in game calls me a slave of the King in jest i'll threaten him with tribunals shall i?

Ports will be lost when you have clans from 5 nations attacking you. We welcome the fight the Danish/Pirate alliance and their French vassal brought to our shores. Less sailing more sinking.

Seems to me the Americans are taking advantage of a nation completely tied up in multiple wars after failing to make any significant gains against their pirate foes.

All nations have probably done it, but i guess the safe zone is being implemented to protect the newer players.

Yes sure, taking out Belle Poule and Cutter with Renommee is seal clubbing and what the hell are you talking about? No fighting zone? I must laugh into your face sir.
All of them got 2 minutes to receive help from your mighty nation, but your Trincos and Frigs were just too scared to PVP and help them out.
You are just gank nation, nothing more, nothing less. The only thing that Britain achieved was destroying the Spanish super underpopulated nation. Your war effort against Pirates or Danes proves that.
The admin made it clear yesterday that attacking ships in the protection zone of a capital is not allowed. There will also be a hotfix that will make it so no ships can attack in the capital zone soon too.

In the next hot fix we will completely disable attack possibility in the Capital waters - they will become a safe zone.
How will this work for enemies? Won't enemies close to enemy capitals just run into the zone to avoid being attacked though? For example the Danes own Port Morant and will be able to flee into British capital zone for safety which is quite a large radius?

I vote perm ban.
However should mercy be shown at the very least the main account should be wiped. All assets and gold/xp reset, This sort of toxic behavior can ruin great games like this,

Players that use exploits like this completely ruin the whole point of the game. Really should be banned for this.

Don't you dare tar all of us with the same brush, just because some individuals of the clan have scammed, doesn't mean we are all scammers. I myself for example, yes i am TRR & Yes i craft but i tend to sell ships on the market. Also, only being a level 27 crafter, i cannot craft more than frigates atm. However the two people ive crafted Exceptional Cerberus's for were very happy with their ships. Actions of individuals are actions of individuals alone.
Ill also have you guys know that TRR also defends alot of ports and assist the other British clans when possible. If we cared not for the nation, then we just wouldn't bother defending it, would we?
Doesn't quite work like that i'm afraid. If your leadership doesn't kick such members then that sends a strong message to someone like me not to trust any member of said clan when it comes to handing over materials/funds. Innocent or not, you choose to affiliate your self with such scammers then you too must expect that many people will not want to do business with you. It's nothing personal, but if i see a couple of members from the same clan start scamming members of their own nation with no action being taken by their clans leadership then i have no interest in trading with it's members.

I think admins should force switch these sort of players to the Pirate faction where i think such things would be expected. You wouldn't have a serving British captain do something on this scale and get away with it.

Please make basic cutters free only to first rank new players. The current tactic of groups going round with a couple of their high ranked players in cutters to stern rake you while you fight off the bigger ships is quite frustrating. Not because it isn't a valid tactic, but simply because any damage done to the cutter is utterly meaningless when they instantly respawn a brand new one for free right after. I don't mind higher rank players using small ships for this tactic, but i would rather we all have to pay for these ships since right now it's lose nothing and gain everything sort of trick.

I just don't find them useful. By the time you get to a location the player would be long gone.

I would like to see the basic cutter only free for first rank players. Currently there is a lot of higher rank players building outposts in free towns near enemies then just sailing in groups of cutters to pvp. There is nothing for them to lose and everything to gain. Most people scout in them too because they don't care if they lose the ship.

i would hate for damage xp to be removed. it's nice that i can join a battle and still be rewarded with gold and xp even if i don't get a kill.

Does this explain the 19 3rd rates that attacked one of our ports last night and almost all of them were undercrewed... Interesting.
I am for punishing people who exploit the system. If it was single player i would not care what people do, but in a PvP open world game i do care if the players i am fighting are richer and more powerful than me simply because they gamed the system.

So does this mean that somebody like my self with almost 500 hours and rear admiral rank will not be able to vote because i always take part in the screening fleet rather than fighting in the actual port battles?
