Well I personally believe the dutch had it coming.. And the brits + the americans.. The three admirals treaty basically reduced the spanish faction to a shell of a faction - showing no respect for their player base and no respect for the game.
As the game is in EA the player base is extremely small and one porting or reducing the other factions to underlings is simply bullying. In the case of the three admirals treaty it was even the two largest factions ingame (with the tiny americans in tow) that ganked one of the smallest factions ingame (playerbase). When something like that happens it really only reduces the whole game for everyone.. So I consider the one porting of the Dutch (And I'd love to see the same happen to the brits and the americans but alas! It may not be possible before the wipe) to be a leason in humility, and one that is only acceptable due to the coming port wipe, and I hope everyone thinks a bit about keeping the game fun for everyone in the future.. I don't mind going to davey jones.. I definately don't mind sending someone else to davey jones. But I do mind if the game gets too unbalanced so it favours one side too strongly.
And every1 should read this lesson in fair play and respect for your opponent (who provides half the fun after all):
I can say with no doubt that I wouldn't be able to be so gracious in victory against an opponent who showed me so little respect as was present in the three admirals treaty.
Dutch didn't take any of the Spanish ports. Nor did we help any other nation take them. We raided them, yes, just like we raided/privateered everyone else.
What a contradicting post that is, you picked the weakest target yous could and exploited them and holy fuck it took you all how long to take all of our ports, daaaaaammmmmnnnnn. Even the fucking pirates helped certain nations against us for fuck sake. that's 5v1 considering we never got a huge amount of help from the brits and pretty much nothing from the americans. (pointless alliance)

Increase it, see how it goes. If people whine, adjust to get a moderate happyness. I'd like it for the timescale you've said, but I'd like clauses in it so if an alliance isn't working it can be voted to be cancelled. Rather than have a unchangeable time limit to alliances.

I cant talk here what i have talk with devs (and the tests i gave them) but they clearly not agree with you since they gonna check frigs bail out water performance after tournament. Tbh clear fights where sorry won in the first 20 min, in term of hp damage, manouvering focus where fucked up by timer (and ppl running for) and bail out performance of unsinkable ship. same for TDA they ruled the match vs RUS and risked to lose it on last 30 sec.
So many match where giving results that not reflected the combat, where if there was more time or rule that you fight to death the results where reflectin the combat status at 100%.
Yep same happened to us a couple of times. I was overall actually disappointed with the level in judging.

Remove the timer, stupid idea to have such a short time of battle for such events.

1.5BR rule is a (B)ullshit ®ule... Why would one even consider re-adding this catastrophic game killing feature? Fuck me.
