I might move my clan to PVP Two to avoid the queues. We're playing Britain. Just need to double check what was cloned over.

I don't think traders honestly need XP because you are truly after gold, but I would rather the current trading be fixed to where I can earn more money by trading than by doing missions.
The current economy needs to be fixed before giving xp to traders.
Well traders need larger ships too so makes sense for some form of progression to better ships.

I'd like to see group ONLY missions spawn at ports, with much higher xp and gold gains that literally require a group and are pretty much impossible to complete without one. You're right that missions is pretty much a solo thing now as most people won't get anything from helping you out. Grouping is only really necessary in PVP and when capturing traders or much bigger ships.

I like this. I think pure trader should be a viable way to play. I'd like to see trade missions generated for ports that need certain goods providing the distances are significant. The increase in trading players would then provide more opportunities for piracy and mercenary fleet guards for players to guard a trader.

It should be in your warehouse under the equipment tab. Right click and click Use. It'll then appear on your crafting tab where you can now craft a Pickle.

I agree that your admiralty missions and battles with friends, group members or clan members in should be identified different on the open water as right now it's pretty hard to figure out which is the one you want when you're in a heavily populated area.
I don't agree about being able to lock battles though, having battles open in the open world is something which I love about this game and that should be a PVE server only function if implemented at all. I love that I can enter someone's battle and help or on the flip side join another faction's side against a player. Especially if they're of an opposing faction.

I'm all for this idea. More control and choice for clans/guilds is great. Add a clan bank and allow permissions to be set on who is allowed to withdraw from it and possibly set limits.

but where are they going to teleport to? They are new they have no outposts to teleport to, and they just left the capital where they spawn.
There's a high chance of brand new players getting lost at sea straight away. Allowing them to teleport freely back to capital will help them a lot.

Voted. My favourite out of these is the lookout feature. A lot of the time I'm not really constantly spinning my camera when I'm out in open water or I'm looking at the map or something. I'd like some sort of notification another ship is nearby.

Agreed on this. I completely forgot to patch the game and had been sitting on the server screen refreshing. Now I have to queue all over again.

While this is a noble goal and politics on a grander scale would be an enjoyable element of the game. As above this is impossible to regulate. For example most people in the British nation would have no idea that there is any sort of formal alliance between them and Spain (I didn't before reading this post) and many won't use the forum. Another major clan may decide that Spain are enemies.

Seems like a great addition to the larger ships. Mastering the wind speed and direction combined with controlling the sails is a huge part of what makes this game enjoyable so adding these would give extra bit of control and allow for better chase gameplay.

At the very least I feel like you should own an outpost in a port to be able to craft there to give an incentive to players to establish their own bases of operation.

I'd like to see clan tags. Maybe it's a little "gamey" but I think it's a useful addition.
Ideally I'd rather there be guild/clan emblems you could design and they'd be in game on a flag on your ship.
