I don't want to switch servers. I have made a lot of friends on the other side of the world in the two years I've been playing this game. So basically I feel like I'm being told I am no longer allowed to play this game with them. This is a Band-Aid on a sinking ship

No, but on another server, it will mean all the US players will play together and at their primetime, i think the devs will help you to switch servers by keeping all your items with redeemable on the other server.

 half of the fun in playing this game at least for me, Is meeting making friends with and getting to know people from all over the world.

There really are no fair times until you get into the weekends. But the way the hostility is set up it's difficult or almost impossible to get the ports fliped for an equitable time on the weekends. Also a lot of people want to play more often than two days a week... I know this has been beat to death but the only real answer is a larger more diverse player base in each Nation!!!!

Hello fellow captains! Very new to the game just got my key a couple days ago and had to upgrade to a new laptop as my old one did not run shader 5. Just got all set up and would be willing to join you... Mostly interested in pvp, maybe some econ. I still play actively in the burning sea (DBLD). I haven't the slightest clue how this game "works" but as I learn I think you would find me to be a valuable member.
