Had a crash here as well. Twice to be correct. BB was full fledged 92k t. 4x main turrets 457mm. Secondary doesn't matter, cause it happened twice with a 457mm shell. The projectile struck a cruiser midship. Both times (view followed the shell) Right on impact the client froze.
Range was far out, the only battery firing were the main. Projectile entered a pretty steep angle, above 45 degrees.
To me it seemed like it was a calculating issue with over excessive damage numbers.

Sorry for being late in the discussion. Just came across this topic.
Im sad for all the american or Pacific Players having horrendous Ping Rates. I would easily play on any of far away located Servers. Did it in the past, will do it in the Future. My Ping have never exceeded 300ms anywhere in the world in the past two years.
I bet my "exceptional trinco" on PvP 1 that most of the issues with lag and Spikes are a (User)Providers problem. Anyway im seriously thinking about creating a char on pvp2 for playing. Not crafting.

.....das man in PVE Gefechten (Missionen) nicht nur gegen Piraten kämpft. Ich fände es fantastisch und sehr immersiv, wenn die Gegnerischen Schiffe von Nationen wären, mit denen die eigene Nation im Kriegszustand ist.
....das AI Trader nach Ihrer Klasse und Ladungskapazität Waren befördern. Subjektiv empfunden, sind bisher die Trader Brig die "wertvollsten" Opfer bezüglich Ladung und Wert des Schiffes, verglichen zum Zeitaufwand des Aufbringens der Brise. LGV dagegen total uninteressant .

...... das man im Battlescreen nicht endlos pausieren kann. Nach einer Zeit x am Ende des Kampfes wird man wieder in die open world transportiert. Sagen wir, 5 minuten? Das sollte aussreichend sein, sich zu reparieren und seine Beute zu verteilen.

Es gibt links zu älteren xpadder Versionen. Da gibts dann zwar keinen "support", die alten Versionen sind immer noch Freeware.

Mit einer alten TIR Version ging das noch. Da könnte man die Maus aufs TRir legen.
Ich guck mal mit ner alten Version von xpadder sollte es gehen. Neue Version ist kostenpflichtig.

Den Razorbacks als auch den original Xbox controller, 2 bzw, seit Erscheinen. Ich behandel mein Equipment pfleglich. Es gibt ja Zeitgenossen, die behandeln solche Sachen als Frustlöser. Das verkürzt die Lebendauer bekanntlich.

Ich hab den Controller, und ich hatte den gleichen Gedanken.
Ich werd mich wohl am WE mal hinsetzen und mit einigen Emulatoren experimentieren.
Folgende Belegung manifestiert sich:
Linker Stick: WASD
Steuerkreuz: hoch/runter --- Vormast
Links/Rechts- Haupt/Besanmast
Rechter Stick: Maus
Linker Trigger: Breitseite
Rechter Trigger: Einzelfeuer
Rechte obere Taste: Fernrohr
Linke obere Taste: zielen
Sticktrigger: modifiers für ABCD Tasten
Etwa Munitionstypen oder/ und Mannschaftseinteilungen.
Ich kann mir auch vorstellen, das mit Lenkrad und Schubregler (Warthog) zu Spelen..????????????

kann es sein das hier viele Clans Tod sind, ich bin auf PVE und PVP1 in beiden Clans dümpelt ich fast alleine rum, auf PVE ist mir das ja egal da braucht man nicht unbedingt einen Clan aber auf PVP ist es tödlich. Oder ist es immer noch das Sommerloch?
Jedenfalls benötige ich auf PVP ein wenig Hilfe, die Piraten haben mir schon 4 Schiffe versenkt, ok es waren 1 Dura Schiffe aber gestern haben sie mir eine voll beladene LGV abgenommen und dann versenkt, danke an 7up für deine Hilfe leider haben sie dich auch mit versenkt. Bin in Willy bei den Käsköppen.
Dann schau doch einfach mal beim "Duitse Wolfsrudel" http://duitse-wolfsrudel.de/index.php?forum rein. Im Augenblick ist Willem Sneijderund Ethan Burns online. Heute Abend auch Dick Brave und Andere.

Handelschiffe mit "4 Pfündern" bestückbar machen.
Landgänge, kleine Missionen an Land, eine echte Taverne in der sich die Spieler treffen können, Missionen aushängen und ein schwarzes Brett an dem Kopfgeld ausgeschrieben wird.
Ausloggen auf hoher See muss einen Malus bringen (Fracht verloren, Schiff stark beschädigt oder Schiff verbleibt eine Zeit x im Spiel) Mir geht es jetzt schon auf die Nerven, das sich jeder Spieler Händler ausloggen, sobald Ich mit meiner Mercury zu nahe komme...

Moin in die Runde,
Hab gestern mein Seepatent bekommen, und die erste Runde auf dem PvE Server bei den Briten gestartet. Natürlich bin ich auch auf der Suche nach ner netten Flotte.
Der Thread erinnert mich an 'Elite dangerous'. Da gabs/ gibts die Diskussion auch. Ohne Ergebnis.
Da ich ja noch keine Spielzeit habe, würde ich auch auf PVP gehen, dachte halt zum lernen ist es nützlich.
Welche Fraktion hat denn die meisten deutschen Spieler?

Looking Forward to this, since it seems to me, this game starts, where Potbs or PotC (AoS) ends.
So Lt Jonathan Casey is looking for his first commando and continue to siege the admirals office at White Hall.

Took me a while to find a passage to the carribean, but finally admirality found me a ride on a brig over the atlantic. Wasn't fun. Bumpy.
Now Im in Port Royale, carried out my First Order yesterday. Good to be in command again!!!
What really Sprung to my eye was the navigation. Feels more like wild guessing. But the combat is very satisfying.
Currently on the pve server EU. There s so much information, really don't know what to Grab first.

Defensive BB vs PT
in Game Technical Issues

Yesterday this Mission froze . Had a BB Build with an aft barbette and 51mm lafettes placed outside the given attach points. 2of these were placed far aft behind the Main battery and 2 far in Front on the bow, before Turret alpha. CTD around 5 min in games.send Crash Report yesterday.
Replayed it in the evening without the barbette and 51mm outside of given mounts. Though I lost the mission, I had no CTD. Might be worth to know.
