  1. I voted for PVE content. It's very much needed.

There is few mentions that PVE could affect RVR. I like that idea but i'm also worried about that->pve-player sails his/her hard earned snow near Enemy port and starts grinding trade ships to affect RVR. Then there is one full Group waiting to gank his puny little ship with their Super frigates.

I can understand pvp'ers desires too but it seems that population is declining all the time. Many pvp'ers are skilled and it makes it hard for New players to join pvp. I think that most of us starts with PVE and then moves to pvp after learning the game mechanics and getting a good ship. Supplying for pvp needs good foundation of resources and usually PVE is needed to achieve that.

This game needs both PVE and PVP. We should find a way how those two can work together.

  2. The pure idea of people going PvP because they have to while they don't want to gives me the creeps.

    This!

There should be something for everyone. So why make people do something they don't like to do? They Will eventually leave the game because of that.

I think current system is good enough. Maybe we should allow developers to think about New content, not thinking these questions at this time.

  3. Imo Splitting players to two different servers isn't the best idea nor making game too grindy with only 1 dura/ship. Having 5 durabilities makes it possible to have almost nonstop pvp if You like it that way.

I would like to see big linefights with big ships. If You have only one dura on your precious 1st rate, you might not want to use it on pvp.

Community would also split into to different groups which isn't too good for development of the game. Like someone said earlier, it would need balancing stuff for two different servers. Also something what suits for hardcore server, might not suit the other.

  4. I would like to have it, once i have test fired it would help me because i usually mess my aim with my mouse :) so it's kind of handicap tool for me.

It wouldn't improve aim but helps to keep the aim for a short time. Those Who don't need it just won't press the lock button.

  5. I think that it should be kept in mind that game shouldn't be too hard for newbies. There should be a balance between realism and playability.

Too much sail tweaking in the battle means ships dead stop and unintentional ramming on line battle. (if it takes too long to get sails up/down)

I'm new to the game and i mostly use my time while ranging my shot and trying to keep the correct heading.

  6. Count Crapula, great name :) Are you from Finland? Just asking because Crapula relates to one word in finnish ;)

About specs: some People will always buy the best when it becomes available, no matter the price.

I usually buy good parts in few year cycle, not everytime when there is a new generation. Gaming is my hobby and my way to get off from the 'real world'. That is how i justify my purchases to my self ;)
