Willem van der Decken
There were 47 ships built. There is also a white model of the Vlissingen online
Willem van der Decken
Also they were ment to look like warships. Warship left - trader right. OTMatt
The original plans could not be found, so they chose to use a generic indiaman designed by Chapman.I found and posted one that looked exactly like it. No one really confirmed it though. I will look through the forums for it.Edit it was available in this PDF which I don't think works anymore. Ok thanks well maybe these might be the plans, its a Retourschip design in 1742 by Charles Bentham on pages 75-82 including sail plan. Its probably better if Wicked Mouse went to the Museum though. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&ved=0CDUQFjAD&url=http%3A%2F%2Fessay.utwente.nl%2F66547%2F1%2FJong%2C%20Johan%20de%20-%20S0076759%20-%20Thesis%20WWTS.pdf&ei=5TriVPTcGIGYgwTd5IKgDQ&usg=AFQjCNHK8QJefhzwt3fvyCJss_4qpjje6Q&sig2=u0psCUn-HtbH77mErNUKcQ&bvm=bv.85970519,d.eXY&cad=rja

John André
For how long will this poll go on? Will some of these ships come with the next major update on around 14-15 of April?
Arvenski
For how long will this poll go on? Who knows? It's already gone on for a while. We'll just have to wait and see. Will some of these ships come with the next major update on around 14-15 of April? No way. Ships take some time to be modeled, implemented into the game, balanced, etc. Plus, it takes longer when the devs have other things to work on that take priority: we still don't have the winners from last year's poll in the game yet. hiclipucli
the developer team should be more attention selected for new ships. Recently we received three ships, but two of them are useless. Essex < Trinco (so any player use Trinc in PvP ) Ingermanland < Constitution ,capped 3rd. rates , again useless in PvP... all bring capped 3rd, and capped Consti. to the battles ... So most player use the OLD typ of ships ( Trinco, Consti, 3rd rates), which is boring.
Haratik
Perhaps you should pay more attention to the flip side of your argument. If the new ships are better than the Trinc or Connie, who the devil would play those? Most of us want variety, not exceedingly better performing ships. Who cares what outperforms what. More ships is the idea. Save your breath for something that actually matters.
BungeeLemming
[...] This should not be a discussion about ships. I use all of the new ones and retired my golden Trinc. Its a matter of taste and gameplay desicions. But if you think some ships are OP or underpowered go ahead and post it in the ships speeds and feedback section/ thread. In here it should stay on topic. And the poll will decide which ship is taken. The wildcard will be an interesting ship indeed.

Justme
One of the three Corvettes of this poll because small is beautiful too. I think adding 3 ships 1small, 1 med, 1 large would be viable and possibly have something for everyone.
dwbarefield
I vote for the de Ruyter, 80 gun, dutch built ,shallow water. We need a bigger shallow water ship.
Sir Edward Pellew
I voted for the Diana - I think we do need more variety and loved the looks. I vote for the de Ruyter, 80 gun, dutch built ,shallow water. We need a bigger shallow water ship. If the Niagara is unable to take part in shallow water battles then I doubt the de Ruyter will?

PUR3
Princesa Real (1819, Portugese 50-gun frigate)It's "portuguese" not "portugese". And although I'm happy to see a ship from my country on this list I'll still have to vote for the Christian VII because of the lack of end-game ship variety. Haratik
I totally agree with you but you just told the big secret of the ship No secret there. She wouldn't be able to participate in port battles in shallow waters meant for nothing larger than corvettes and sloops o' war.
