I dont want to go off topic but that's an interesting idea...the presence of players in a port could drain resource quicker to reflect higher consumption. One for the ideas section sir, good call. Merry Christmas Merry Xmas sir, Just to clarify to the casual reader... we (SLRN) have been currently at War with the Danes and no other Nation. We were solely preoccupied with defending our home waters from Danish threats and supporting our Spanish Allies in and around Hispanola. Whilst there, 100% of our Antilles Ports were captured and held by the Dutch, with upto 50-60% of the French Ports in the area seized also. This clear Dutch strategy of expansionism has upset too many Nations in too small an area, last night it came to a head. Enough was enough! In simple terms, we have merely driven you from our area of the Antilles and the French, likewise, have done the same! When taking your ports we had no 'little helpers' we arrived with a own fleet, you defended it with valour and we captured them...not an elf in sight. The French did the same! Nothing was dirty or underhanded, you tracked our fleet all the way, assembled your fleets and defended them.. so I cannot see what there is to wonder!?! On a side note: I stated in your TS after the battles this was nothing personal or malicious it was us tired of clear aggression and playing the game. Just today they conquered all of the Danish territories, they recently took over all of French Haiti and are rapidly expanding into the Dutch Antilles and the Mexican coast. And they justify these acts by calling others aggressive conquerors! The audacity! Anybody can see that if nations don't rise against them united we will soon all be devoid of proper ports (and dental care). The Anglo is a cowardly type, merely winning by numbers, too scared for a fight where the odds are remotely even. Use this to your advantage! All French Haitian territory - Its called diplomacy, note please the British Ports the French own in exchange in the Antilles. Expanding in Dutch Antilles - Curbing the domination of the Dutch in the area. Mexican coast - Really, do you mean the historical ports on the Nicaraguan coast that have been the same since the start of the game?
