'Adolph Friedrich' Swedish East - Indiaman 1763 (With Plans)

Recommended Posts

I don't know what "fregatt shieppet" is, but I'm pretty sure that the illustration is her as a 60-gun 4th rate.  She was later converted into a merchantman with 24x guns.

She would look nice with 2 full decks.

Illustration already has 60 gun positions, which is why I am saying it might be before conversion to a 24-gun East Indiaman.  Or maybe she kept all her ports?

So it says (translated to english): "The frigate ship Adolph Friedrich was built in Stockholm and launched 17??. The ship made a travel to the mediterranean sea and was sold at its return to the swedish east india company.

It made three travels for the same company to the east india. Then the ship, after it got transported to Stockholm from Gothenburgh sold to Stockholm again. In february year 1756 it got in the hands of captain Carl Baltzar Wen?t in Stockholm.
