Barberouge
The cast iron of the cannons started this month (in French): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xbFHboB5Hc The hull has been launched in 2012 and the sailing tests should begin this year: The frigate will make a "La Fayette trip" from Rochefort to Boston around the spring of 2015. Then it may sail to Annapolis, Baltimore, Philadelphie, Newport, Hampton, Portland and/or New York.

Torch
I recently have been to HMS Victory and was very impressed although the rigging was not complete at all because of intense repairs on it. Kinda sad but still worth the trip from Devonport to Portsmouth. This specific french ship is just wow. Wonderful line of a classic "traveller around the world" a frigate. Looking forward to see her finally at sea.

At least its the correct shiptype. But the "HMS Lydia" was a british design. That was a darn epic novel btw..
